1st time grow, how am I doing?

So this is my first grow, and some of you a while back helped me figure out who were boys, and who were girls...I ended up with 2 girls, and I wanted to post some pics of how were doing and get any comments opinions, and advice you have.

These were random seeds, grown in regular potting soil, outside, until flowering stage, then placed in outside shed for the night, and back outdoors for sunshine during the day. Since I induced flowering stage I have tried to maintain a 12 hour sunlight, 12 hour no light cycle. No added nutrients at all, and have watered when top 1-2 inches of soil were dry.

The one that is producing the most is in a 5 gallon bucket, the other a 12" pot.

thank you! what should I do about my slacker? will light regulation help it along? I also heard to trim the fan leaves?

I've heard 1/2 red then harvest..and also that's to late.
