Go with the hps cfls are a waste of $$$ and time... You get much better results with hps from what ive seen.
Your anecdotal evidence is shoddy at best. I recommend reading and learning about anything before you speak on it, lest you lose all credibility. Anyone who knows anything about horticultural lighting will think you are a completely inept fool.

Just a heads up.

im gonna use part of my closet wich is 22"x30"x30" i wana put as many plants aas i can in there on a 12/12 from seed any ideas on how many i could fit and how many watts of cfl should i use for sucessful grow

this is a soil grow and i want the best at a good cost but tere tons of differnrt type so any suggestions
i personally think cfls are a waste of cash in the long run... for your case i would pick up a 150w or 250w hps ... then get a mh conversion bulb. in this space you could produce good product with this light and 2 plants. if starting from seed you wanna plant the seed and do 3 day of complete darkness and original water w/o nutes. then your gonna wanna flip it into a 18/6 light cycle for about 2 to 3 maybe 4 weeks depending on seed type. during this time i would use about a 1/4 of the recomended nutes. build up slowly to full amount by end of 3 or 4 weeks time. from here your gonna throw ur light cycle into a 12/12 this will start the flowering... this time will really depend on the seed type could take 2 weeks to 2 months. read up on harvesting, drying, and curing. during this time you should be using full recomended nutes. If you do ur research right you will know when it is time for you to start the harvest.

when should i transplant these in to bigger pots

when i first started out i started in soil then i ended shocking the shit outta my girls and i put them into hydroponics... but from what i remember the root growth does not start to branch outwards till about the 3rd leaf stage. those are beautiful seedlings btws and you have the first stage of leaves up. I would switch it up to about a 7or8inch diameter pot within the next week or so.(this way the pot will be big enough that u will not have to transfer it again). when you transfer tho your gonna want to not move the roots as much as possible and take as much dirt in that cup as you can. stay away from the root as much as possible for if you shock them by playing with it to much you could kill your girl when its so young.

Why do so many people come in to the CFL subforum and bash CFLs telling people to get an HPS... Its fucking retarded. There is often a cost and/or space issue that prevents people from doing it.

Your plants are looking good so far man. Its not advisable to start flowering and then reveg because it will stunt their growth for awhile.
Also youre going to want to move those to slightly larger pots or fill them to the top with soil. If you do the latter, youre going to want to lift the root mass and dirt, and throw more dirt underneath it because piling more dirt on top wont do anything really. The plant is going to struggle getting light or get root bound during flowering if you dont make a change.

is it possible to like flower till they show sex then go back to veg for like another few week
this early on bud...good luck... its possible but your plant would under go so much stress that it will probably effect ur final yield. the way i determine sex and its not that hard... wait till it like 3 weeks into vegging and clip a branch on a 45deg angle down. make sure u hold the branch upright and make a pinky size hole in another pot and plant the branch... its a weed thats all you need to do to clone... ive done it just as simple as that and it worked just fine. water it like you water the other ones and then throw just the clones into a 12/12 light cycle. this will tell you the sex within like a week or two. I personaly dont know or havent heard of any other quicker ways to find out unless you pay the extra buck and get genetic female seeds from a seed bank.

just took a pic tonight
Your on your third leaf stage... i would switch into a bigger pot... do what i told u to above and make sure your dont shock the root too much... but besides that it looks like your doing a great job growing these... they seem healthy and in good shape! keep up the good work!
