Good afternoon,

Id like to start by saying hello and thank you for letting me join the community!

This is my first time growing and Im really enjoying the challenge. I need some advice though. I believe I’m on week 5 almost 6 of my flowering stage. This is some random seed I lucked out and found. Ive used fox farms soil and nutes however I have stopped using the nutrients to I guess “flush” my plant? I sort of understand this part but not fully. Well...anyways I need to know am I doing something wrong because these buds in my opinion are tiny little things. I don’t expect huge ones on my first grow but please shed some light on this for me. Its an inside grow tent Im using CFLs. I have a fan and all that jazz....I guess you’ll see the pics. Well anyways I truly appreciate any advice or tips offered!! image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

Looks overfed so flushing probably wasnt a bad idea. 6 weeks in still gives plenty of time for the girls to fatten up

If you follow the Fox Farm feeding schedule in combination with their soil you'll overfeed your plants.

I see seeds.

Sweet deal. I really appreciate the feedback. So maybe in the future should I do “half” there feeding suggestions? Also are the seeds a terrible thing and how can I fix that in the future?

Also part of the reason I start flushing was noticing the tips of the leaves starting to yellow. Was this a true sign of nute burn or did I just get lucky and make that assumption in my head?

If you are in FFOF, I wouldn’t provide any bottle feeding at all, that soil has everything you need. Maybe an additional top dress during flower, and small amount of P and K during flower, but that’s it. Also, bud size is solely dependent on your lights. Weak lights produce small airy buds, strong lights produce big and dense buds. Flushing won’t help soil that has nutrients in it, all you’re doing is removing nutrients from your soil.

wow...im glad i didnt kill it yet then. This is awesome advice! I really appreciate the reply. So can I still get dense buds using cfls? I used a grow guide from growweedeasy website. Its so addicting reading about all this stuff and its such an exciting feeling actually getting this far.

I wouldn’t expect a big yield from CFL’s. The girls need more light in flower vs veg. Might wanna invest in a QB. ( quantum board ).
