1st Grow Ever -- Indoor-CFL -- New Pics Every Few Days

Just started these plants in the middle of rebruary. Ill be posting pics every few days..Whatdyou think? Im hanging CFL's down with ropes..about 80% blue spectrum and 20% red until i flower..which is probably gunna be in about a month. I have 4 growing right now but am only going to fully flower/harvest 1 female..ive got like 6 feet of height in the closet and its got 2 feet by 1.5 feet at the base. I think ill get the most bud in the end from going with 1 big plant instead of 2 medium or 4 small ones. Anyways thats about it. Any comments/suggestions are appreciated.

day 9 bitches. had 7 little guys up and at it by this point in 4 seperate pots..every one of my seeds were viable

haha look at all the wires/hanging lamps and shit. im so proud. i cleaned it up a little since then..

Day 14..performed alot of transplants that night..bought 4 new 2.5ish gallon pots and transplanted the largest 4 plants into them. put the smallest 3 in their own seperate pots of various sizes. i put 1 of my little plants in the bathroom under its own lamp since there wasnt really room in the closet

at that point i was using 2 100 W incandescent bulbs (1200 lumens each), 3 or 4 1600 lumen 23 watt natural daylight bulbs, 1 42 watt 2600 lumen red spectrum bulb, and that was it. i planned to add alot more lighting within the week

Ok so this is the greenery as of day 22 since they came up out of the soil. How do they look?

I killed off the smallest 3 plants out of the 7. I just plan on growing 1 big tall plant in that closet..i think that will be the best way for me to maximize my final yield. Anyways theyre growing fast..I can't wait to start flowering but am probably going to wait at least til the beginning of April before that.

Ohhk so I just took fresh pics of the grow a minute ago. Today is day 27. They just fully developed their first set of 9-pronged pot leaves. Theyre so fat and bushy right now and theyre only like 6 inches tall on average. Little tanks! I wish theyd get taller but im sure theyll grow upwards like mad in flowering. Anyways, what do you think? Lookin goooood?

I was going to throw in a comment about incandescent bulbs being useless for plant growth and that you should get the CFLs closer to the plants, but they're looking fine. Whatever you're doing, keep it up! If if works, don't fix it!

I'd be proud of those plants if they were mine.

they are getting pretty big now as you can see the pics from a few days ago. if i even stick my finger an inch into the soil i feel like im pushing through roots. it didnt used to be like that. is that a sign that they are getting too big for their pots? i wish i could get bigger ones for them for until i can sex them, but the pot upgrade is going to have to be held off until then..just no room. what do you think?

It looks as if you are a short on space. Your plants are looking healthy! Keep up the good work. If you have not seen Drbudgreengenes method you should check it out. It will maximize your yeild with the space and equipment you already are using. Just do a google search Drbudgreengenes. Good luck with your grow.
