1st grow 30 days in...CFL

POSITIVE!!!!!!! NEVER use tin foil to line your walls. I have seen personally what tin foil and cfl's do to a plant. The light was not even touching the plant..about 3-4" away, and there were lines in the shape of the cfl on some of the leaves...looked like someone had touched the leaves with the side of the bulb.
 
Well allrightythen! Please pardon my skepticism. You have made a believer out of me, if you've seen this personally.
Also I'd like to take this opportunity to say that when people put a blatant lie as their signature (which you do not homegrownboy, and ty for that) it does nothing for their credibility. I dont care what the circumstances are. Legal, illegal blah blah...As far as I'm concerned there's not a damn thing wrong with what we all are doing, except for the lying about it. Put that in your pipe an smoke it! lmfao

It wasn't on my grow i witnessed the burning, i'm not that....silly.:mrgreen:

Ok the foil is down but, I can't paint the closet, and mylar is not an option. How a bout a regular mirror, I've got a few big ones? How about one of those car shades, the fold out silver ones? I dont give up easy...lol
 
Car shade...or if you have a few $$ run to a camping store and get the emergency blankets...there cheap and fairly large once undone. Another thing you could do is go buy the shinny holographic wrapping paper...it's made of mylar and i hear it works well, make sure to get the silver wraping paper. And then when you walk into your room you might see an array of colours...lol.
 
Wow. Cool. I've got some of those blankets. I would have thought they would be the same as foil, but I'm all over it.
There seems to be a race going on. Which is growing faster- the plants, or my knowledge of them. Both are cruising! Yee haw!!

sry about the sideways one...they are a little droopey today, was chilly last night and they were also thirsty.

Yep they are looking more different every day. I've either got two distinct varieties or some males and some females, ( or all of the above lol)
5 short ones and 5 tall ones.
1,2,3,4,and 8 are short and bushy looking ( nice branches coming out)
5,6,7,9,and 10 are clearly taller with more space between nodes and inconsistent branch developement.
If you look at the pic from my gallery you can zoom in really good to see the branches.
Some have got yellowing of the older leaves. Mostly just the 3 bladed ones. I probably could have been giving them a little more water but...
Last week was their 1st nutes too and it was a weak concentration to start with 1/4 strength. They got their 2nd dose of nutes today. Not quite 1/2 strength. 10 plants drank 2 gallons this morning. I'll wait at least 4 days before watering again. We'll see how they react to todays feeding. using MG 24-8-16

massive stem growth = males usually and short bushy = female IMO this is just the way it has been going for me. i would toss any of them until you flower though, you probably want to get rid of a couple of them 10 plants on cfls would be stretching the light a little i think..or it could just that they are two different strains tooo:)
 
TY cronic, i'm saving the 10/30/10 for flowering.
And I hear ya Tryintogrow, thats why I planted 10, hopeing to get 4-5 ladies.

Added more lights (again) today. Now I've got 8 4ft tubes, 8 cfls (various), and 3 18inch tubes.
 
damn you got some more lights. lucky bastard=] hehe well im probally gettin 2 4 ft tubes and probally gonna have all my cfls surrounding my babe. lol. she is a beast=] more pics to come in my thread=]
 
1,2,3,4,8 are looking the best. keep up the good work man. im using cfls and 40w grow tubes also you should come by my journal:)
 
Yeah i agree 1,2,3,4, & 8. I numbered them after they started growing, and I made the best one #1, 2nd best was #2 etc...
How # 8 got better looking than 5,6,7 idk lol but it did!
So check THIS out.....My gf was so impressed with my grow, she vacated the adjacent closet and allowed me to join the two closets!! :mrgreen:

THEN, I found (thats right FOUND!) a 4ft fixture with bulbs in it. I brought it home & plugged it in.....presto- let there be light!! yee haw!!
So now I've got more room , more light. :)
I could even have a vegg room AND a flower room if things go well!:blsmoke:
