The plant is 32 days old. Its not that big and is dying, found on the some of the leaves that are turning brown with a brown disease looking dark spot. Iono the problem. Can anyone help. Its in good size pot, just flush it with distilled water to get back into shape. Soil is from a potting mixture and i place pebbles over the soil. The above view of the plant is a nice, but the lower parts of the plant is turning brown.

Germinating several other seeds. I hope they crack soon :D

Hey man some pictures would be easier to judge the problem with.. how big is the plant? are you feeding any nutrients?

Here.
The bottom leaves are going yellow and then they die off. No nutes just distilled water.

I just bought Liquid Concentrated Seaweed. - With soil conditioners.
- Promotes strong root growth
-Reduces plant shock
-Revitalizes soil - WTFF does that mean?
- Safe on all plants. =D So cannabis must love it.
It says for me to pour 35m of seadweed (the cap). Rates shown below are per 9 litre watering can
1 cap for seedling/planting/transplanting/indoor
2+ For shrubs, vegies and trees/lawn.
Use regularly for best results, eg. every 2 to 4 weeks. Gee that is a long wait.
I got a 10L container which is filled above half way with water and i poured in half of the cap of seaweed. Does that still work out? Since 1cap = 9L. Half cap = 4.5L.
So now the water is mixed with the seed weed, where there is a air stone in the container to pump oxygen to the water. Is this good for the nute?. The air pump has been on for around 2 days now. I also poured like 250ml of distilled water in the tap water mixed with sea that is in the 10L container is that bad or good? Hoping it to fix the pH. Since my tap water is around the 7.
It states to use within 24 hours of mixing. So gotta be patient for couple of hours till i feed my plant. Hoping that it will make it grow bigger :D.
Btw can anyone check above, the picture to see the leaf problem i've.

I just started to feed the plant with the seaweed concentration.
Its only been one day.
I only fed it around 250-500ml already. Not going to feed the plant for a day or two until the soil is dry. Not to dry hopefully :D

Its winter and our temperature in Australia in my state aren't going above 23. Is it alright for me to put my plant outside to vegetate? Since 96W won't promote growth as fast as sunlight? The weather outside in the morning is cold, but with nice sunlight and clear blue skys. Remember its winter, and we summer/spring for us start around September so i know that when for sure for me to do a outdoor grow.

Is a 14000K 130W bulb good? Planning to get this set up if a 14000K bulb is good? I thought 6500K was the best for vegetation. Can someone answer which is better to get? I can choose whether to get a 6500 or 1400 with a 2700K bulb.
Here is the link. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Fluorescent-CFL-14000K-25000K-Lamps-Kit-W-Reflector-/230468540803?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Seed_Starting_Hydroponics&hash=item35a8fed983 - Can't find it? Type in cfl kit or cfl light. You find it. Image is lit with green and is around $150 in AuD + shipping.

Just decided to buy the 130W 6500K + shade cfl kit and just buy a 2700K 130W+ since it be cheaper than just getting a 130W 6500K n 2700K. When you can veg with a alright 130W and flower with a stronger watt bulb.

It day 42 and i just tooken these pictures around 5Am in the morning. Just saw Uncle ben (UB) technique in topping. It was interesting that he showed his technique in getting four massive colas. Anyways i topped at the 6 or 7th node. What happens if the sliced off node, and turns brown around the edges but still green in the centre is that good?

Just bought a new fertilizer, since the seaweed neuts will be used on seedlings (The all purpose fert) Under $5. - like to find the cheap stuff.
It works pretty good. In couple of days roots already grew out of the bottom holes from the pot from the seaweed concentration.
Just transplanted them into abit bigger pot. Don't have anything bigger that will fit in my grow area, but the pot size is still good. The results of the transplant, sweet, doesn't look like its in stress since i just transplanted it yesterday and it looks exactly like before. I think this is the result from the seaweed - since its help in transplanting.
Took of the LST string i had on before, forgotten to take them off when i was transplanting and could of broken the stem, thank god since this is my only plant.

I turn on 2 extra CFLs. Think the cfl in the black socket lamp is 18W/20W. The white lamp is a 24W spiral and it looks like it does much better than the 4U cfl. A total of 152W, but the black lamp needs to be moved closer to the plant gotta replace the lamp closer. I got 2 extra lamp but i need to buy cords for them. I wanna make a total 200W CFL and eventually getting a 130-250W cfl kit. I wanna have the cfl lamps/batterns on a wall lighting the stem of the plant and having the 130-250W on top. To get the maximum result.

My Soil PH lvl is exactly at 6 but goes lower as i go to the bottom of the pot, goes to a minimum of 5.4 or 5.5. Is that still good like 5.4/5.5 is at the very bottom of the pot.

Someone can you make sure about how i topped my plant? Its in the second diagram.
I topped the plant just above the node, leaving half a cm stem sticking out. Is that alright?? Or should i cut out the stem that is sticking out?
I accidently a fan leaf that is at the very top of the plant. Should i leave it or take it off?
BTW where i circled red, what are they? They were calyx before, and turn into little leaves, are they fan leaves?

Seems like people are so helpful on these forums. Geesh.

Anyways, nice looking plant bro. You did fine on topping it other than breaking that fan leaf but if you can manage to masking tape it back together it should grow back if you do it quickly enough. If you lost it, it's not going to hurt you. I've topped about 3-4 of my plants to try the 4 cola technique, I may do more as I'm still vegging, so good job there if you are looking to try that you'll do just fine. I would also recommend a flush for the next watering or 2 with gerber pure water for babies cuz your soil is getting a little hot at the bottom. The pure baby water has cal/mag & potassium that the plant will like & that will free up your nutrient uptake so they can feed more heavily. Don't use any other baby water to do this, only gerber pure with the blue label. You can also add a little bit of dolomitic lime if you can find it. Other than that lookin good, even if you don't do what I highlighted that plant should get you some nugs, but it should turn out better if you do. :leaf:

By the way, are you able to adjust the height of your lighting? Not sure how tall your plant is but if you were to put it in flower right now it would hit your lights within a matter of days. Keep in mind your plant will be 2 or 3 times as tall at the end of flowering. A foot tall plant can easily reach 2 1/2-3 ft.

I heighten the plant by placing books under the pot. I only have one book under it, and when i had it sprouted it had more than 5 books under the pot.

You are going to have to raise your lights every day during flowering. The plant will get a lot taller. Just trying to prepare you for this since you only have one book left to remove.

We have target here. Is it the company with the red circle? I don't think USA target is the same as AUS. Can barely find hydroponic/ lightings equipments unless you really know your stuff.
Yup just one more book. It about 2cm-4cm, I'm going restructure the lighting. Going get some hooks and chains.

yeah distilled will work just fine, I've read you want to flush with water equal to at least 3x the volume of the pot. Also the dolomite lime is a very good idea in your case. soil ph should be around 6.5, maybe just a bit higher, like up to 7 but anywhere between those is good. Your light is good for veg, in fact now that you are using fertilizer, and once you get your ph right, I think you will see quicker growth. 200w of 2700k cfl (not standard t-8) is plenty for flowering one plant. Main thing is to get the fertilizer and ph issues under control. It's important that you feed the right amount, in your earlier pics it looked like a N deficiency.
