Yeah, I learned that the hard way. We'd probably be better off if we didn't mess with em at all, I just get in too big a hurry most of the time.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING GH!
im just the same. Actually growing os teaching me to be more patient. Patience was NEVER my strong suit lol

I clearly have a problem
1 pack = 5 seeds.. and 60 bucks later :leaf:
Screenshot_20181125-090715.pngthis is a self intervention. Im putting myself on a seed buying ban for 3 to 6 months lol. I really need to focus on growing what i have.. my space is just ro limited for all these seeds but again, u never know what can happen and id rather have these genetics on hand than to miss out because i waited. Either way, the seed buying ban stands lol. That is all

I checked all the plants today.. here's the 411.

Solocup challenge
Looking good, one has been successfully topped and that one also has a dank smell already. The other is so short and compact that i decided not to top at all.
No signs of sex but im betting on them showing sex in the next 7 days or so. The attempt at air pruning roots in a solo cup SEEMS to have worked, hopefully it helps increase yield

Autos
All have been lst'd (tied down) and have had nice growth from lower nodes as a result.. very very lite nute feedings and they have responded well to that. The super skunk and cash crop are still looking very similiar right now. If it wasn't for labels i wouldn't know the difference. The smallest of the autos (nyc diesel) has shot pistils.. i need to give it a closer look but i dont mind having one finish early . Its Just flowering this early really affects yield negatively but the other two are vegging so lets hope they veg for another week or two atleast.

Photos.
So my last two haze and a 1 of the blue mystic seeds died so i replaced them with my own seeds from last grow and a c99 seed. We do now have 5 sprouts . We have a fem gg4, a reg blue mystic, a fem gg4xauroraindica, a fem gscxauroraindica and a c99 fem.. let the games begin!

So the plan here is to let my autos flower out fully on an 18 /6 light schedule. During this time the photos are vegged out and trained. The autos should br finishing up When the photos are ready to flip. Its really hard to time it with autos because i just dont know exactly when they'll start flower, making it hard to make accurate predictions.. i really want this 1 room perpetual grow to work so im gonna stick with it until i can iron out the kinks and get a little bit more familiar with autos

Ill take better pics later today.
I find it amazing that I've got 3 grows going on in a 3x3. I take my solo cups out at 5pm amd put them in a dark closet . I leave for work and i put them back in so they are there at 5am when lights are on . The autos and photos are on 18/6 (5 am to 11 pm)
28 DAYS from seed

so, i hit the bloom switch on the 600w a few days ago because all the autos are showing pistils.. when i hit the switch tho, they responded very well.. i'd also like to add " a little training goes a looong way" . pics tomorrow. they wont be huge but i should have a 3 plant auto harvest in 8 weeks..8 weeks adter the auto harvest should be the photo period harvest. im hoping to continue this cycle evry 8 to 10 weeks until further notice..ttyl

Sounds like a good plan man, I've started running 12/12 from seed with everything. It's working out pretty good so far. Just gotta find myself a strain that'll perform well to my techniques, you can also burn thru beans faster this way. Some strains will finish in around 80 days or so, from sprout to cut, and I like seeing what each strain will or won't do. Plus I have a variety of medicine to choose from, big plus, lol. Got a few Pure LA Affies to run through next. I've got too many beans and not enough space, but I'm happy with how it's going, so no complaints.

I lazily copied this from my morning Instagram post. Ill do a more in depth update later but im on the run at the moment

Explosive growth recently on the autos. They've begun to #FLOWER already. The #training or #lst has given me #multipletops . Ive got more work to do tho. Gotta #transplant the #photoperiod plants, change my #nutrient solution and clean up the #growtent.IMG_20181203_085403_299.jpg

But anyway , go back and look at the pics 6 days ago (tuesday) and You'll see what i mean by explosive growth. Im not disappointed by the early flowering. If anything, its got me right on schedule, as planned

After i broke that branch on the super skunk auto, i thought id really screwed up because she looked stressed to all hell. Today she looks better than ever and this accidental topping will result in yet another cola. Based of of her vigor, im no longer worried. Id just heard alot of bad about it. Guess we get to test it out lol.
The nyc diesel is just about done transitioning and is approaching full blown flower. 2nd is super skunk and close behind is cash crop, both of which are still transitioning .
I transplanted the 5 photo period plants into 1 gallon fabric pots and they responded well, became perky and are now asking for nutes. We're officially in veg! Here's to another good grow! (Hopefully)

Looking good man, what size pot ya using? I grew a couple autos back in the summer in 2g pots, I just tied the top over like yours are, they just got about a foot tall, but they made over an oz each. Yours are looking good.

1 gallon fabric pots
How do they do in one gallon fabric pots? I've been using seven gallon but finally figured out that was no good. I've been thinking one or two gallons for a while now.

Your plants look good. It's too bad the LST thing was on an auto. It would have made a nice clone. And it's looks like you are setting a perpetual grow. That's something I would like to follow. It's on the "try it" list.

Well this is my first time ever running autos and trying a 1 room perpetual grow but if u follow along we can see how it goes together. Lol I'm curious myself.
