150W CMH sativa garden

Beautiful simisimis.
4 colas way seems to be better because of thicker stems... Mine ~35 main stems were very thin and lanky in 2week of flower,but now they are gettin' thicker it really gives me hope thats it is possible to make good scrog with this strain.I have to go scrog because of my grow space.Its like 35x50cm or 1x1.5' lol. But next time i will shoot for 50+ colas instead of 35

Your thoughts about nutrients is very good.Mine cindy eats 2.5 times less than my nute company suggests and about 2x less people here feed their plants. 1.3EC or 650ppm.Even this looks too much,because of dark leaves and burnt leave tips but this issue following me all the grow.

My last mistake...yesterday i noticed that at the tops temperature was 34C.Wheather outside changed +10C and i forgot to check.Result-she stretched and buding stopped for that moment

If things will go as expected I might start collecting pollen this weekend. Those balls are cracking already. Will give my fem clones another few days to build up some stigmas and will be doing some paintbrushing.

Nice.You plan to go for 49 flowering days? if i remember correctly Kite High said chop day 52, and you tried different chop days.Can you tell me the difference?

Also how do you calculate flowering days,from the evening you flip timer or next day.Because for me its only day 30 and i flipped one day after.

One thing i can notice,now 5days i'm fighting nitrogen toxicity.Flushing,keeping my plants on nute diet,it helped but not much.Flowers grow rate are very slow.I red that nitrogen toxicity is "very" bad in flowering because needs 2weeks to recover.
And attention! i see N Toxicity signs on your plants too.Top bud little leaves edges are curled down or "clawed" some tips are burned too.But yours is very mild toxicity,maybe nothing to worry about,mine even large fan leaves were clawed.Its sad ,but i will have more than enough in the end and had a great lesson as a newbie...
So,i guess i wont start grow journal.Maybe other grow. But definately try to pollinate clones.

Mine smells very sweet fruit and refreshing.Hard to describe but i found i often keep my nose over them,sooo goood...There are any sign of MJ

About the flip date, well I rounded a bit. I just started counting at the day I set my timer. Yeah, from what you described, mine smells the same. Only that at first I did not feel that sweet smell, only now that it started pushing resin. I'm not sure if it's N toxicity, it could be heat/moisture/overwatering from flushing signs, cause some lower leaves are getting yellow. Also I have no idea about my water, since I water with tap water with ~9pH, it might also have some chlorine, that could be causing this, but those signs are very mild at the top and more distinctive at the bottom. So I try to balance between toxicity on top and deficiency at the bottom. Kite said to double ca/mg/S/P/N at week 5. Still need to find posts of his thread and read more about it.

And about the day 52, yes, he said that, but later I was following his discussions with some other guy, who swore on day 49, so on his last grow, he cut his tops on day 49, and harvested bottom ones after a week or two. Anyway day 49-52 is just a window where you can't miss Although I felt very big difference of C99 that was cut on day 52 and day 57. The latter was less heart racy/trippy. I find myself sometimes wanting positive happy uplifting feeling and sometimes all that plus caffeine/taurine like energetic trippy boost.
Especially when I consume edibles of it. I've never laughed that hard from anything else but C99 cookies. When smoking had only 1/2 of the effect. Here's Puffs' smoke and eat reports:

yea its very sugary,ive seen only several plants but none of them were so frosty.She was frosty even in 2-3week of flower.

Ive red Puff's smoke report and lol that reminds me myself 10 years ago boiled 2 whole indicas plants leaves which my friend grew.Obviously we had no clue what to do and finally i drank a cup and almost called a doctor.Its hard you cant control high. But will definatelly try your cookies recipe! Will eat little by little.I have low tolerance and smoke very little.I even didnt smoked almost last 7 years...


About nute deficiency.Its hard.I kept my plants on 1/4 strenght several days and lower leaves started to falling down.But still no signs of healtier green looking upper leaves,still very dark. And i add cal mag every watering,since its hidroponics and RO water.Ill try not to overdose since i will not see any deficiency.

Grow is going to the end I guess... Today is 6 weeks of flower. Still there's a lot of packing Cindy needs to do before going down.. Hopefully she will.. Underwatered her 3 times in a row, and temp in the grow room dropped to 60-70. Prob that caused me some loss.. Still plant is looking not that bad I think.

love that long colas.Mine arent even filled yet And guess why,today i got PH pen calibration solution and saw my pen i out of range per one whole unit.That means two times a day for 1.5 month (guess from amount of ph- solution i used) i feeded my plants with ph 4.7-4.8... And cindy took it like a champ i should say.. lol...

I have one question,you said you harvest main colas and wait for another week or two for popcorn buds.
So you do not flush? Do not let finish her 2days in the dark?
Week for popcorn is enough?

After that i plan to reveg her,because i afraid different pheno which grows in veg at the moment... Shes little and stinks very much,maybe because of low PH

flush.. i did that once, never again. if you read my 2nd grow thread you prob saw KH guiding me on this matter. i flushed on my first grow, cause forum ppl told me to. leaves died, as it was supposed to happen, then harvest then cure(just burping). taste and smell were nothing special. after KH suggested to get boveda packs, now i dry them and put in box with boveda 62%. optimal humidity for curring. lower than 57% curring stops, above 69 high risk of mold. boxes are filled with sweet aroma and the taste is incredible, without any flushing. curring what makes this happen, not flushing.
revegging takes a lot of time. but doable if you want to save phenos.

i'm planning to harvest main colas, and will see about popcorns. double harvest is valid only if you manage to keep the leaves green. three times in a row i underwatered her. found in the morning all wilted... so i lost quite some bottom leaves. but harvesting higher might do the trick.
and i water with 8,5-9 ph. fck it, tried adjusting to 6.8, no difference.
but you i believe said that you grow in hydro? then phing makes sense..
also i see that i'll be chopping on day 52 maybe day or two later. she won't be ready on day 49. was having some 58-68 temps lately which slowed down the process

I lost bunch of leaves during flushing my N toxicity,but they all are under the screen and do not get any light at all.That was the price,do not know if this is very harmful? Its more stress thing or just lost food,how do you think?

And yes ,i'm doing hydro.Thats 50/50 coco/perlite. ph 4.8 is insanely low.And looking at the leaves and undeveloped buds you can really tell something is wrong Peppers are doing very bad too..At least now i know that i can do much better with cindy and scrog.Remember i use 400w and hydro.And your buds are bigger...Did you see another cindy grower here in the forum? https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/747518-newbs-first-grow-c99-x-4.html
OK growing style and stem size plays a big role here ,but..
And surely ,shes late now,52days is the minimum i will chop her.We will see and compare buds.I dont have microscope.

they say to reveg a whole plant properly you should take it out the pot and prune your root ball and then re-pot in new soil. just what ive read if it helps at all

Hey, sorry for being inactive lately. So much to document, but all those holidays and job switching thing. Also doing shifts now, therefore my daily routine is not really daily anymore..

During all those underwatering times, also giving them wrong combination of ferts I also lost a lot of leaves. Papanikolau, When flushing you are not supposed to lose leaves.. Probably you did not give her right enough N after flushing. Flushing itself does not cause any stress, except for growth spurt, resin production etc..

So, yesterday was day 52. I decided not to play with those double harvest things. I managed to grow more than I need anyway. I also lost a lot of bottom leaves, so after cutting tops, there wouldn't be many leaves that would drive the production of lower buds.I run couple of liters of boiling water through the roots and placed a plant in darkness for 2-3days to let it ferment a bit and do it's preharvest curing.

Also was checking out some calyxes and I can already say that my seed batch will most likely be successful Check out the pics.

With my noname weak scope i cant see any amber trichomes yet.Ordered another one.
Looking at yours and especially mine plants,flowers looks so white and 'immature'. Other people on the forum who saw Other similar Cindy on day 57 or so said it has 2-3 more weeks to go..

Tommorow is my day 52 and i have to decide to chop or not to chop.
I have about 7 more free days because other plant needs some more vegging and cant decide ,leave whole plant for this week or chop the tops and leave popcorn.

What is next on your schedule? Kali Mist? Or youll give a try for fresh cindy beans?

yeah that cutting part is pretty tricky. Especially if you try to figure out on this forum. Most of the people are waiting for amber to appear. Amber is CBN. Passive, sleep thing, when I smoke I don't want that. I'm a firm believer that it has to go down before amber appears. most of them clear towards cloudy and I chop. Speaking about the potency.

Usually I don't have that strict "must chop exactly at .." thing, but Saw too many poeople confirming the peak day that I would doubt them. When I took at the day 57 my other cindy she was also very nice, but more in a calm happy positive way. Also clear head uplifting. At a day 52 it's more energetic, trippy. Especially from cookies.. But that's just my experience..

But I believe if buds don't have white stigmas, or have but they are receding and does not show too much of growth, why degrade that resin.. And that is exactly what happened to my Cindy.. Almost none of new stigmas popping out, all receding, calyxes swollen. I have 4 magnifiers. one x15, then x30, then x60-100 and x60 that you can attach to iphone ))
This is what happens when you buy first and only then think what you need. I'm thinking actually on getting a normal simple microscope. Already tired of that cheap chinese crap you get these days from gadget stores.

Btw, what was your temps during grow? This time I had 58-68 for quite a long time. And I got real airy buds and not that fat that I used to get under 70-85..

You know mostly i'm worry,maybe i could delay maturing process with bad environment i had.PH after few flushes still remains about 5. Coco coir seems locked it.Very strange for me but i'm newbie... But as a result yield will be very low,i guess twice as i could do with normal conditions (but we will see after i reveg her)
If bad environment couldnt affect trichomes,i would be more than sure day 52 is final day for her with all information we have.

BTW do you plan to make hash from trimmings? I found zero cost ice method,will definately try it and cindy is so resinous can only imagine how stong is Hash from cindy..

Well environment might slow down things. i.e. Cold weather. But I think this is more a plant has its time to make some seeds. In a perfect environment it will produce loads of calyxes, but under stress, water, nutes you name it, it will try to survive, therefore will make less calyxes. On my very first grow I harvested 1g of weed.. those buds were very small and airy, and very little of them but they looked finished. Trichomes, stigmas..
So its more affecting the quantity you are going to get not increasing the time in which you'd get same quantity.

About sativas. Well lets compare..

I chose them for uplifting positive energetic trippy high, that one you know already. I think I should compare smoking separately from eating.

So C99. Was perfect almost in any way except for heart racy feeling. But that comes with trippyness..
After smoking. You feel your chest expanding. Smile appearing on your face, getting positive thoughts. Being active creative and social. I finish the sentences I start.

Through edibles. Similar except for trippy laughing part. That gets me to hysterical laugh )) for 2-3 hours.. with a pain in a jaw so even smiling becomes painful.

SLH. It's an interesting one.
The smell goes through every wall, every plastic, bag I have. A strong skunky smell parfumed with lemon. I still have it from 8months ago.
The effect is also racy, uplifting, trippy. But less social. In my head I get a lot of ideas, but too difficult to talk. Then I usually sit calm and drink something and let others talk )

Edibles are nice. does not get me laughing, but I get trippy and creative. Once I ate a cookie, went to a cinema, and realized that I forgot my tickets. I went back home to take them. ~1hour. On my way back to the cinema in a metro it started to work. Oh my .. walking to the cinema has never been more difficult. ))

This weed will turn you in.
I get red eyes from it, it stinks couple meters in front of me and heart is way more racy than from C99 or other mj I have.

Zamaldelica
I harvested some earlier for my wife. Like 5 weeks earlier. Cause I was expecting trippy one and I wanted her to get a mild version of it. But it turned out, that earlier one was way more interesting. Got me pleasant and positive. Social.. Dunno, very similar to Cindy, but without trippy and racey.

final harvest is ok. I like it. I get that sativa high. but nothing outstanding. It's social, uplifting, racey. Not too much creative or trippy or positive.

Edibles.. well those were also - high only..
I liked that plants bud structure. I trust people saying it's trippy as hell. I liked the smell of it. So I am more blaming my failures rather than the strain. Maybe I will be growing it again. But most likely I would go for Ace seeds Malawi.

Destroyer is something very similar to Zamaldelica, but less potent.

So actually All of them are sativas, but are very different. What they have in common, they do not have couch lock and do not interfere with social life. Except for SLH.. that thing is for personal use )) But since I never smoke alone. I use it only before movies )

Will be doing Kali Mist now. I really can't wait to try this out But this one is a very long flowering strain. 14weeks or so. But if I'll get 50-70g of Cindy, I will be good for 28 weeks ))

To me it looks like i won jack pot choosing this strain.So far i cant see any downsides.Very vigorous,fast,super strong,fantastic smell,taste and the lowest odor achievable of all strains i think and the high seem exactly what i was looking for.Joyfull,social with trip elements somethimes when needed.But is it possible to do not have red eyes? That would be nice.. Cant wait to try...
Couchlock from indicas is not my cup of tea,somethimes ok,on movies maybe as you said but not very social so..

Will chop tops tommorow and leave lowest popcorn for another week.Then revegg her two months.
