Get some more drops, buy two and stash one. I used to have a truncheon for pH and another for TDS/EC/PPM.

Sold em.

pH tells me a whole lot, along with the status of the plant.

The pool PH measurements are different I believe. The chemicals used for pool testing is different than that of typical tap testing. The pool chem is based more on a chlorine based test as soil and tap testers are based more on calcium and acidity. If I were you bro I would just borrow some money or something and grab up another tester and timer at the same time if you hadn't got a timer already that is :D I would like some pictures to see how the girls doing. Flush only when you can make sure your PH is 6 for soil. Otherwise you're flushing with the problem. A good idea also is if you plan to harvest soon (week or so) I would recommend feeding nothing but straight 6.0 PH'd water until harvest. You will have way tastier buds and no chemical taste.

Do you have this set up? If so I will do an experiment for you and find out. I need to know mostly do you have that dripper and ph down chem?

thatd be the one i used to have yup! What are you getting at with that though?
Well in order for me to run some test for you I would have to know if you have the same set up. I will test it right now and post back in just a minute. I think my tap is 7.0 or so. Be back after a few minutes.

I filled a 1 gallon milk jug to the bend right below the cap and it was right around 7.0 and with 0.5 ml I got between 6.0 and 6.5 on my reading with the drops. If you keep the PH down to 0.5-0.75 ml it should be fine. Remember though adding nutes does raise your PH. Hope that helps man.

awesome man, i appreciate it all the help throughout, i wish i could reward you with a lil bit lol:lol: now i can try that and def distiguish what 6.0 looked like on the chart, and also no more nutes so thats a plus too!! time to flush today , thinkin bout only watering on wednesday to the end, 2 and half weeks left... what you think? because it will end on a monday and feeding it the last wednesday will give it time to dry out?? or isnt there a thing to deprive it water the last week to max out thc?

I personally don't change the watering schedule just take the nutes out and continue watering like normal. When their browned a bit cut em and dry em. That's just me though. I don't see any difference in trying other things when you have something that works for you. I am trying a few different set ups until I find the best yielding process. Haven't grown in years though and just started again so it feels like the first time all over again haha. Oh well I'm sure things will work out fine. Good luck man I'm glad I could help you.
