okay well the temps at 70 with a small fan blowing in there, but i have been watering smaller amounts more frequent like say every other day, now i gave the plant about 64 oz of plain water yesterday, now im planning on giving 64 oz of nute water tomorrow, should i be giving more like a gallon of water, then wait 3 or 4 days? then a gallon of nute water
Perlite is very good at aerating soil, using 50% of each you should have watered backwards, ever increasing as the plant grows larger. I use no more than 20% with my soil mixes. It is what I learned, never had a problem.
Watering should only be done when the medium is completely dry, or darn close to it. Forgetting the outer rim of the plant near the edge of the container will cause poor root growth. Start at the edge and work in, completely soaking the medium.
You should be using close to full strength nutes at this time, adding in CO2 wouldn't hurt if you can get 85+ deg F temps.
Lots of air circulation.
Check your pH, it should be about 6.5. When it drops dramatically you need to flush, then feed at the next watering cycle. When it goes up, your plants are munching away!
Maintain your humidity 20 pts lower than the temp, roughly. (For example: 80 deg F; 60% RH. 85 deg F; 65% RH, 75 deg F; 55% RH.)
That's about all I can think of right now.

Head to Lowe's with $7 and get the soil pH tester. Right next to the Scott's Perlite.
Head to Wal-Mart with $7 and get a digital thermometer with Relative Humidity (RH) read-out.
Also, at Wal-Mart there is a very effective and long-lasting humidifier for $32.

but i do plan on starting a mother and getting some clones outside this spring after this. This is my first grow indoors and ive been way to touchy with watering compared to not being able to go see my babies outside.
Inside you have to play "Mother Nature".. which can get expensive depending on your climate and time of year. Outside is a different story. Preparing the area months before the clones are even cut. Then all the work to bring them out and care for them.. this can get to be a handful. Either way, you're growing and having fun.
