Started Feb 24 with 5, lost 1 on March 13 due to heat and lack of water... left with 4... (using bagseed)
When I started I was using 2 26W 6500k and 2 23W 2700k, temps around 85-94, watering every other day.
I have 3 fans on a 12V adapter (1 of the 3 is the exhaust), and 4th one on a 9V adapter.
March 19 I realized 2 of the 4 were showing preflowers (approx 3.5 weeks in) and also planted another seed using the papertowel and ziplock method as I did before, still watering every-other day but half began using bloom nutes at half strength http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paXoa807kbI ...there's a video of the beginnings to show how silent and light proof it was initially, obviously have made some modifications to make it more lightproof.
Planted another one April 1 by just putting in the soil this time....I'm so glad I have 2 that are girls, my biggest 1 (tallest) still hasn't showed sex, but im keeeping an eye on it.
Lights: now using (2) 26w 27k and (1) 26w 65k and (1) 23w 27k.....will probably soon remove the 23w 27k
thanks dj, time for an update:
So good news is I have 3 out of 4 confirmed females and 2 babies (one that is 3 weeks old and the other 1.5 weeks old). That dwarf plant that I was reluctant about growing turned out female. My biggest and oldest still hasn't showed sex... I'm getting worried cause I'm running out of space for that 1 lmao. I've gotten really lucky cause I just used random bagseeds and it seems like they're indica dominant with thick fan leaves which is great for my situation. Now I only have (2) 26w 27k and (1) 26w 65k in there and am watering with ultra bloom every other feeding and tap water that has sat out for at least 2 days. Time for some eye candy....the pic is of the smelliest of the bunch and is also the shortest at 6inches and stockiest & is about 3 weeks into flowering.....any1 got tips for making them more crystally? I think the 65k light makes them more smelly and resiney while the 27k makes for bigger flowers?
