12/1 light cycle method

That is the vegetative light schedule I use with my small grow space.

When you think about it, the plant is given two periods of night every 24 hours. One short night relative to the 12 hour day and a longer night relative to a shorter one hour day.

I have never used the common 18/6 lighting schedule and am unable to say I have noticed any growth differences with the two lighting schedules. I started using the lighting schedule to use less electricity.
