Thanks I appreciate it...actually almost all my clippings go into the fireplace, just seems like an easier way to get rid of everything. Yesterday I discovered a bit of PM on one of my plants in the corner it was only a few spots on the lower branches but I quickly cut them off and treated the whole garden with Serenade, I tossed a bunch of nice sized branches into the fire and just wondered if the entire neighborhood smelled like weed.

Of course up here nearly every other house is a grow house so I don't really think that I have much to worry about in that department.

I just placed an order for some Querkle seeds.

Yours looks amazing!

Have you tried it before?
No I haven't yet but she looks incredible, just starting to show some purple hues to her leaves, I'll probably run her for about 65 days so she has a couple weeks to fatten up a bit more. I went ahead and decided to run these without any training just to get a better idea of how they naturally grow, the Space Queen and Soma #10 both grow really nice and open, the Querkle is just a nice compact little plant, with training though I bet she could very easily be turned into a beast, probably won't yield like commercial strains but I've heard she makes up for it in potency.

You'll be happy with this strain for sure, I can't wait to test her out.

Good to know. I'm not looking for big yields just a good smoke :D also my height is limited to 5 feet so unfortunately I'm stuck with short bushy plants... or I guess I could start training them down a lot.

Querkle definitely classifies as a short plant, mine is about 2' tall right now which is around the height that I generally stick to, she should be all done stretching now so I think thats as big as she is gonna get.

Good to know.. I should have fun growing her then.. Maybe I'll try a SCRoG for the first time.

Thanks again.

Ok...been awhile since I posted, been sort of busy with life lately but I'll put up some pics this weekend, all are looking good so far probably about 2 weeks out from harvest on most of them, trichs are still cloudy with no amber to be seen yet.

In preparation for curing I picked up some 62% Humidipaks for after I jar...found a pretty good deal on ebay with 10 of the small paks for $9.29, where I live the humidity is almost always low (usually in the 16-30% range) so I think that these will really help to even out my curing process...I have fucked up curing once before and this seems like it should make long term storage a bit easier...if anyone else is interested here is a link to the guy selling them on ebay...this was the cheapest I could find them...just under $1 per pack.

Thanks for the share man.. its very timely as I'm about 2 weeks from harvest.

is 65% too high for curing?

I'd order those too but he charges a lot for shipping to Canada :(

The only other I could find were 65%

From what I was reading I think that 62-65% was about perfect for storage, they make a couple others also...I could probably ship some up to you, most likely it would be cheaper, if you want me to check on rates I can see how much it would run and send them out...not a huge deal, you could just hit me with Paypal once they get to you or whatever way you want to do it...if you ever need to order from the US let me know and I'll have it sent here and then forward to you. Canadians always seem to get screwed with shipping costs.

Thanks man.. That's super generous of you to offer.

I will probably go with the 65% as I found a decent deal on them here in Canada and then shipping is free.. don't want to put you out my friend.

But again that was wicked of you to offer.

I got my Querkle seeds! i'll probably do a run with those next. You'll have to let me know how the smoke is so I know how many to crack open.

My plants are getting big but I've got some deficiencies which is frustrating. I'm happy so far though for my first serious attempt at this. Hope your ladies are treating you well

No worries you wouldn't put me out at all, my wife has an antique business on the side and most of what we sell ends up going over to China or Eastern Europe so the Post Office or DHL are pretty much always on our daily chores list.

The offer still stands though, when I lived in Romania for a couple years I couldn't use ebay at all, most sellers see Romania as the location and instantly think you will rip them off (actually most of the time thats true unfortunately) so I know what it's like to find the perfect price on a piece of equipment and then not be able to buy it because they don't ship to my location.

My Querkle is just killing it right now, I absolutely love the way she grows, she is just starting to show some colours and her leaves are beginning to show some deep blacks/purples and the buds are just starting to tinge around the edges with this same type of coloring. She is far and away one of the coolest looking plants that I have ever grown in terms of color. Unfortunately I didn't take a cutting from her so I think that I'm going to pick up a pack of seeds, out of all the strains in my garden right now Subcool's gear seems to be putting out the best results with Soma's #10 running a very close 2nd.

Most of my Sannie seeds have been popped now with the exception of Sugarpunch and Shack which I will probably start in the next week or so, I've started setting everything up to run perpetual and I'm almost there, I've got 3 stages going in my veg and seedling tent (a 60" tent tuned on the side for more space) I'm working on getting another flowering tent since I have a 600w ballast that is just sitting around collecting dust. I figure that I'll go from my veg tent to the 600w flowering tent for one month and then into the 1000w tent to finish, by the time the first harvest is out the second batch will move over and I should be harvesting every month.

Ok, a few pictures, I will post the day 55 flowering pics tonight once lights are on.

Mad Shack Sannie freebee twins, both from one seed, I'm expecting one to die though but we'll see what happens:
