Well its been a few days since i have posted and alot has happened.. First off the yellowing has not stopped and i am going crazy with trying everythin. I realized my AG pump had stopped werking about 4 days ago. So i gave it a flush and peeled as much roots out of the pump as possible. I sprayed the roots to get any chunks of nutrient pill out of the roots. I then rinsed out the AG rez and filled it back up and put the plants back in. Plugged it in and still nothing. So now i spray the sponges with a squirt bottle just to keep them wet.. I waited 2-3 days and put some nutirent water that i disolved a 1/2 pill in last nite. All the plants have yellow in them and hope that this last try will bring them to 100%. I also topped my 2 front plants and they have 4 and 6 shoots. Cant wait to see this. This is my first topping ever. I will be heading to walmart to but a pH meter and a ppm meter along with a temperature gauge. I also will have pics so every1 can see how they are looking. They still look healthy and strong just yellow leaves with brown spots are forming again. I also plan on buying some new brand of distilled water to see if thats the problem. I am on my 20 minute break from werk and get out at 7pm. I used one of the cuttings as a clone and put it in a AG sponge and am hoping for roots to grow. She is still growing top leaves so i think she is still alive. I also put up the mylar emergency blanket and first thing i said was what a difference in reflection. Forgot how much it shines in their. Well im off to werk again i will have pictures of all my plants up after 9pm when the lights go back on.. Until then and thanks!!!

Well make sure you dissolve the pills fully, you should have chunks of the tabs still in the water, you dont have an air stone? thats what you need instead of the pump

i have an air stone. The pump in the AG stopped werking. The 1 that pumps the water to each of the 7 holes. Couldnt tell it died because the 20 gallon air pump is so dam loud. Im about to turn on the lights and take some pics real soon!!! I have a question. Does any1 know if rain water is good for mary jane plants? Just wondering. And i also realized i bought spring water and not distilled water. I wonder if thats the problem!!!

oh ok, well you dont need the pump really, the air stones will be just fine, and rain water is good, i think he has a neutral pH or something

well its been monsooning where i live and i thought i read it somewhere that rain water has alot of nutes and minerals in it naturally.. Well ill be collecting rain from now on lol. U need the pump at least until the roots are submerged in water. And my clone doesnt have any roots and is in the sponge. So i spray it every 12 hours to keep it wet

Well guys and gals i have a new update with 12 new pictures. I tried to get the best shots of the yellow and brown spots. The tops are looking very healthy and green but the bottom leaves are yellow with brown spots. I am going to walmart to buy new distilled water and a pH meter along with a ppm meter and a thermometer. Well let me know what u think heres the pics..

Next 1 is my clone

next is the new shoots growing on my 2 topped plants

next is the Violator (shes the 1 hurting the most)

close up of the new shoots

new shoots on the left topped plant

close up of the brown spots

And here is a pic of them last week to compare growth

Any comments and suggestions or advice is welcome. I would like to get this yellowing under control. I have been banging my head against the wall trying to fix it with rez flushes, dissolving pills before adding to the rez, i open the windows in my house to get new fresh air in and nothing really has worked. I have been using spring water on accident when i thought i bought distilled water. I hope that this pH meter and ppm and thermometer and distilled water helps me get everything back under control...

Alright everybody i am back from walmart and got alot of accessroies. First off i bought a new 150 watt cfl and replaced the 100 watt cfl. Then i also bought a digital thermometer with humidity. Then i finally found a digital timer. Halleughya. LoL. No more rushing home to shut the lights off or turn them on. I also bought some distilled water this time not spring water.. I will flush again tommorow and fill with the distilled water.I also found some liquid plant nutrients by miracle grow. I found something called Organic Choice All Purpose Plant Food Concentrate by Miracle Grow. The specs are 8-0-0. It has 8% Nitrogen, 5.4% Other Water Soluble Nitrogen, and 2.6% Ammoniacal Nitrogen. Says its derived from fermented sugar beet molasses. And for flowering i got LiquaFeed Bloom Booster Flower Food also by Miracle Grow. The specs are 12-9-6. It has 12% Nitrogen, 9% Available Phosphate, and 6% Souble Potash along with .005 Magnessium and .005 Zinc. Will these be ok to use or should i bring them back and get something else? Heres the pics

This is the one i want to use for the rest of Vegg

And heres the Bloom Booster

Well it just looks to me like there hungry, i would just start them with 1/4 of the nutrients you just bought, and make sure the pH is at a stead 5.8 - 6.
im thinking its a pH problem, the new growth is nice and green, so thats good.
But like i said you need to get the pH under control, that seems to be the problem, and you dont really need the pump even if the roots haven't made it, the bubble popping on the surface makes enough mist to keep thing moist

I am looking to order a pH meter right now. I check the pH everyday and it is yellow which matches 6.0-6.4 on the chart. So i need a digital meter to get it a 100% accurate. And Sicc did u see the specs on the nutes i bought. Are those good for the plants or should i get something else.. Let me know cause i plan on giving it a flush and adding some of the organic nutes tommorow along with the distilled water..

Yeah those nutes will be fine along with the AG tabs, and your pH is too high, so thats why there yellowing, but once you get it all fixed, they should be good, might have to vegg longer tho, in that you want them to be healthy before you flower.

:leaf:put some serious thought into this...
:leaf:when God designed seeds he didn't design them to be tossed into the air (airophonics)
he also didn't design them to be tossed in a puddle of water (DWC)
:leaf:he designed them to be in DIRT ... buried up to their scrawny little necks ....reacting with the soil and using the beneficial microbes contained within it to extract its nutrients ...
:leaf:if you truly want to save those plants yank them out of there put them in some dirt and use the pre existing lighting you have and finish your grow....soon as they hit the dirt you will be amazed how easily all your problems straiten out... im not trying to be too preachy and alot of people like the hydro approach to growing ...but nothing beats the taste of weed grown in dirt ...you don't see hydro winning cannibus cups do ya (least none Ive heard of ... but i don't follow it too closely):weed:

:leaf:side note : with hydro its always ph,nute strength, and ariation(oxygen delivery) if its not any of that...plunk it in some dirt...works EVERY time :weed:

Thanks alot. If i cant get them under control soon ill have to put them in some soil. But its goin to be hard with the massive root collection in there. They have grown into 1 massive root system. I gave it antoher flush yesterday and filled the rez with the new distilled water and added some of the organic nutrients. I wake up this morning and there is alot of new growth on all the plants. I ordered a pH meter yesterday and it should be here in a few days.. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!

Thanks Norml!!! Actually after the last flush and the new nutes all 4 of the plants are getting their color back. And the new growth in the last 2 days is amazing. I dont understand my other 2 grows went fine then this grow comes along and i have been struggling to get them 100% since day 1. I think i found the problem and plan on being back to 90-100% within a week. I also ordered a digital pH meter for $31 with free shipping. Should be here within a few days!!! Ill post new pics tommorow thanks every1
