Well today is around day 35 and i have an update with 10 pics!!! All the plants have recovered from my early nute burn except for the Violator Kush. But she is at about 80% on her way back. I cut off the lower leaves that were all brown and have upped my nute strength to a 1/2 a pill every 5-6 days. I plan on goin into flowering around day 50 of veg. I am looking into buying a 400 watt HPS for flowering along with about 3-4 150 watt cfls. Well much thanks to every1 who has been helping me since 2008 and hope that this harvest is better than the rest!!!

Sicc and any1 else who could help i was wondering how u top a plant and if its to late to do it now? If any1 could tell me exact instructions to do it because i dont want to risk killing any of my plants this far along in. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

if you want Mylar which is about 200% more reflective then tinfoil (tin foil can cause hot spots on the plants.. not sure if you know that... but also depends on light configuration also..) ...its in the camping section at walmart...its not in a kit tho its just in a little 2 inch by 3 inch long box hanging on a peg and the box is kinda a brown color and its called a emergency blanket .. to cover my box all sides but bottom took 2 blankets so cost me 4 bucks....cheap and the difference is fanominal.... i highly recommend it

Thanks Normi.. I used to use mylar from a first aid kit at walmart but they dont sell them anymore. I am heading over to walmart now i hope i can find that mylar. Well i will look at topping my plants but dont know if i wanna do it yet. Some people say u get more and others say u get the same yield. But thanks guys keep in touch!!!

I dont have a pH meter yet. Still got that tube and drop shit.. But i always have it so its light yellow when i test it. And from the card reader it says its around 5.8-6.2. So im in the ball park. Tight on cash right now. I wanna buy a 400 w HPS in the next few weeks for flowering. Then i wanna ppm meter and a pH meter.. Then i will need to invest in a humidity thermometer. Im just werking with what i got and can manage to afford. When the dough is right u know ill be hitting all the high tech gadgets. O ya i also need a trich scope too!! List never ends keeps on going and going like the energizer bunny. LoL!!! Any more advice is appreciated. Goin out the door to wally world now!!!!!!!!

decent trich scope ... radio shack 10 bucks
great little temp/humidity monitor with highest and lowest memory ..little white thing ... walmart over by the timers .. 7 or 8 bucks.. 10 max ..
decent ph meter .. pool section (summertime) walmart ... 30 bucks
if you water with the same brand of distilled water every watering tho the plants become accustomed to it and i never have to worry about my ph because once i add the nutes to the jug every time i check it its 5.8

haha yeah man there is alot to it, but al long as the the pH is stable them your good, i never even got a ppm meter, just the pH tester

Dam wish i woulda seen this sooner i woulda got everythin. But u were on point, they had the emergency blanket in the camping aisle for $2.88. I got 2 but i think 1 is plenty. Probally hit wally world again for the stuff tommorow. Where can i get some decent liquid nutes for flowering without ordering online. I have no hydro stores near me within 50 miles. Thanks again

Well i just topped my 2 front plants.. Hoping i did it right not completely positive. I read part of the topping thread Sicc gave me and i cut my front 2 plants at the 2nd node hoping to get 4 colas. I didnt do my kush or ww just in case i did it wrong and killed my plants. Well lets cross our fingers and hope i did it right!!!!

im hoping to start flowering in 2 weeks or so. so ill just see how these 2 make out. it will give room for the kush and widow to bush out a lil.. im still gettin a lil yellowing and browns spots back. U think its normal?
