1 70W HPS or 2 42W (150W equiv) CFLs?

This is only for 2 plants in the 'love den' (aka: one male one female just for seeds) And small plants. Less then 12 inches going into flowering.

I'm leaning more towards the CFLs should get better coverage I'm thinking.

Just please don't say get bigger lights. The 70W or CFLs are the only choice for this. Also, both isn't a choice.

I have a pair of 150W HPS and a 400W also. I don't want to dump a ton of light and $ into it. Just looking for some seeds.

Thanks

i am using one 70 watt hps right now for flowering 4 ice cream clones in a mini scrog trash can set up and it is working nicely ... your 70 watter should work fine in a small space for 2 plants
