    Bridgelux EB Series Build

Strip voltage =/= system voltage Even if wired in series each strip would have a voltage dependent on how much current is provided. System voltage would be 39v but each strip would have a voltage drop of 19.5v. (19.5v*0.7a=13.65w)*2 =27.3w 39v*0.7a =27.3w

Setup for growing in cool temperatures

Last summer it reached 30c/86f ambient temp and I got large yield while quality wasn't good. When temps go below 20c/68f I can't really manage to get the quantity even if the VPD should be on point with a RH between 30% and 40%.

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

I had 2 problems. 1. A little flickering due to a badly soldering job I done on a strip connection. 2. System not working at 100% power. I got a potentiometer advertised as "100k linear pot" but that wasn't correct, unplugged the pot and everything is working over the top.

I am using a HLG-150h-42b and everything is working great (after I thrown the 100k pot in the trash). https://ledgardener.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1406

I'm not sure I got what you're saying. I have a eb2 setup: two strips are in series and then all couples are parallel wired.

Setup for growing in cool temperatures

I am of exactly the same opinion: IR. I grow inside an attic and it's damn cold during winter, hella hot in summer. Energy consumption is important for me so an electric heater isn't a valid option. Styrofoam could work, I am going to place a layer of foam between the tent and the floor. Btw I...

    2x2 Tent Setup

nah that china light is just trash. Atreum(there's also the heatsink) and HLG boards are made the same, equal lights. Atreum should be US based only while @diyled is a official HLG distributor in EU at www.diyleduk.co.uk.

in a 2ft tent you can fit 2ft strips. Btw digikey has many SI-B8V521560WW in stock Not a big difference in light output. Btw you can design your fixture with more or less strips/cobs as you need. Found this btw

    2x2 Tent Setup

I grown with both strips and cobs. Not that much difference in a 2x2 space... well, any difference in light spread or final product. Building is easier with strips since you can use aluminium channel rather than bulky (and hard to find, at least for me) heatsinks

Keep in mind the price. Btw I have some graphs, like ppfd/w of different cobs. Probably it's better to summon @CobKits if he is willing to chime in with its numbers
