Religion, or lack of, open discussion/FRIENDLY debate.

Sorry I didn't post very quickly. The fact is that a date, isn't a red flag, Nor indisputable proof. We are still talking about a figure with no proof he existed outside the bible... and an image can be of anyone. The story of jesus was told many times before, recycled from the gods before him...

Religion, or lack of, open discussion/FRIENDLY debate.

I noticed a while back that some people started, but didn't really follow through, on including evolution in the mix. The scientific community is behind darwinian evolution by natural selection by 99.99%, the "controversy" is a fabrication. Our modern crops being an example of artificial...

Pieces of the shroud that were originally taken for carbon dating were not entirely destroyed in the process. The bulk remains in cold storage and there is currently a movement to have them re-tested with the most modern equipment. Carbon dating has come a long way since them, but in terms of...

    Botanicare Pro Bloom Question

My plants have just started forming bloom sites and are really starting to take off... . But the soil is damn dry within 4 days of a full watering in 3.5 gallon pots. Since I'm using Botanicare Pro Bloom Soil, and it says to "feed every watering", should I just cut the dose from 3Tbsp to 2Tbsp...

Does Higher Phosphorus "Induce" flowering faster?

I just don't know if the higher P value of the synthetic, trumps the lower P value of the organic at inducing flowering.

    Which setup's better? (pics)

The blower fan may not have enough negative static pressure, I have always found centrifugal fans are better for carbon filters... But that being said, the second layout will filter the air more effectively. Having high static pressure behind the carbon filter is important and if your lighting...

Does Higher Phosphorus "Induce" flowering faster?

Hey guys, I have 4 plants in 3.5 gallon pots in their second week of 12/12 lighting and I still don't have true bud sites forming. There are white hairs at the bases of the branches but no real buds beginning to form at the ends of the branches... and these guys are bushy as shit, blue-cheese...

    One Week Old and Yelowing!

Hey guys, thanks for the advice so far but the leaves are continuing to get worse and it is definitely a magnesium deficiency, Textbook, literally. Also, the soil is just not drying out, even with two fans blowing on it. You guys were right, it's like a peat bog in those pots! I didn't mix the...

    One Week Old and Yelowing!

Thanks guys, looks like it fits a magnesium deficiency... but I HAVE been over watering so I will let the soil dry a bit and water in some garden lime later. Would cal-mag also work? I have a bottle of that from when I tried growing in coco. By garden lime, do you mean dolomite-lime or...

    One Week Old and Yelowing!

No, no lime. I only added that to the soil mix I will be transplanting them into later... you think the ph is really that off in only a week? They are wilted in the picture, but thats because I had JUST watered them, they are perky now.

    One Week Old and Yelowing!

Hey guys, I have 4, one week old Blue-Cheese females from seed that are showing interveinal chlorosis on some of the larger leaves. I have pics below, sorry they are from a camera phone. They are potted in pro-mix with some added perlite and I fed them a very weak dose of Botanicare Pure Blend...

    Container Size

Hey guys. I was wondering if a 5 gallon container that is 13.00 inches diameter by 10.625 inches deep would be a good sized pot for growing a medium sized, single cola plant? Is that too squat?

    Pro-mix Soil

Yeh I used it once and the results were not that great. The regular Pro-Mix is a good base for adding your own organics, just add perlite and (if you want) some sand. I decided to go with fox farm but just because I was flush and lazy :)

    Ocean Forest Soil and Seedlings

Hey guys, I decided to try out ocean forest soil (with added perlite) but I was wondering if it has too many nutrients to directly plant seeds in it without burning/stunting growth? Thanks!

    Silicone Air-Line Tubing?

Hey guys. In the pet store there is regular clear and green silicone air line tubing... any reason one is better then the other (for hydroponics)? Thanks, just curious

    400W CMH, What Size Space?

Hey guys, I want to run a 400w Ceramic Metal Halide but I don't know if I should go for a 2'x2'x4'7" or a 2'8"x2'8"x5'3" Secret Jarden tent. I usually grow in 12" diameter, 5 gallon pots. I could grow 4 plants in either tent, but I wondering if having that extra space between the plants would be...

    Venturi or Airstones?

Hey guys, I'm getting back into organic hydroponics with an ebb and flow system with a 20 gallon reservoir. Would a venturi be better than air stones? Turbo Venturi Valve | Pet Solutions I'm just thinking it's one less thing I need to scrub, and air stones do get clogged.
