a good method i've found is to completely submerge the roots in proper pH water. then a gentle swish and tug should seperate the roots. this is nearly shock free and even better if you have an airstone in with the water.

90% of water in the usa doesn't contain chlorine. it has chloramine, which isn't harmful to plants, only fish. try covering your babies with a clear drinking glass after a light foliar misting to inhibit their rate of transpiration. if this doesn't help, i'd consider restarting them. shocks like...

hey- my first post on here. hooray! one or two (even stout) CFLs might not do the trick. maybe if you get 2 42W CFLs in 6500k, that might get you through veg. but for flower, i strongly reccomend this setup.
