Lol... I have never made mine with a crock... But I hear it = pure AWESOMENESS!!! I have about a pound of trimmings right now... I have been experimenting with all sorts of different things... Maybe I will try the crock in the next few days...

I never measure anything when making oil/butter with trimmings... I make mine with about 75% oil and 25% butter for better taste... I put a sh*t load of trimmings... Fill the pot with just enough oil/butter to soak the trimmings (trimmings will shrink when cooking, be careful not to add too much...

I had worms about 3 weeks ago... I lightly sprayed my plants with nicotine spray and have not seen a single one since... Nor have I seen any other bugs... Didn't effect my plants at all... And it's organic...
