I used to use 24oz bottles in a sog hempy grow, now I use 18 quart and 12 quart dish pans with 10 to 14 in each. I think it works great, just an opinion. DS

it all starts with a gallon of gas

I think (now I shouldn't be speaking out of turn but) he will be using it to keep the buds from getting wet when the late season rains start up. Then I could be wrong, I sure have been before. LOL DS

    Which way to cross m x f or f x m

I have 10 more of the F1b down now and I will keep the males from this 10 to breed with the females from the same 10. The first 10 that turned out with the 2/3/5 ratio have been removed from the cycle for the most part. The 5 females are giving off 2 clones each for flowering and then cut way...

Lucas Formula for Botanicare Nutes????? And Harpin Protien

The lucas formula only works with the GH 3 part nute line. With the botanicare line you are using it is only a 1 part line therefore has no need for mixing. Use grow in veg and bloom in flower pretty simple. Of course you can always add the extras if you feel the need. DS

    Which way to cross m x f or f x m

Ok from this post I have taken 30 seeds that were F1b x Male2, and after 4 weeks of allowing the seeds to mature they still did not fully ripen. Well I say that because only 1 out of 10 that cracked actually broke the surface of the medium. 10 out of 30 cracked and the remaining 20 never did...

Didn't mean they would bother it, but bees get sick too, and they might need a little THC too.:hump:

    The Hempy Collective

Pollen from other plants (non mj) have been known to travel up to two miles and pollenate thier mate. I am pretty sure that could happen with mj as well. Not to mention you might have some bees or other bugs that might have a medical need for your plant and bring pollen from a male or hermie...

SOG / avereage weight per plant

That is at 3lbs(1344g) and 4x 600watts(2400), 0.56 grams per watt. <- for the ones that didn't want to do the math. If done in a sog prepetual with each 600 watter over one tray or one set of clones, and also assuming that it is dialed in correctly where you were getting 1gram per watt, you...

also perlite is reusable, at least once. a simple bath in a diluted bleach solution and a good rinse and it is ready to go again. I used it for several years in the hempy style buckets but have since gone to coco. to reuse i would put 1/2 cup of bleach (plain unscented) in 10 gallons of water...

    Cubing (back crossing genetics)

If I get all this genetics crap correct in my head, the backcross method should be used only to stabilize a individual trait. If that is the case then once you have one trait stable then you could backcross again if need be with a different offsrping in order to stablize a different trait. Once...

    Which way to cross m x f or f x m

Actually it would be the first back cross to the O-mom if I went that way. The way I went was back to the Male2 instead of O-mom. In the first try (with records) I went inbred f1 x f1, but the second try with a different male I went f1 x Male2 (still inbred but back crossed to parent). When I...

Thanks for stopping by lb. Any notes you could find on it would be great, and anyone else with breeding notes that show which way is the best way to carry on a certain trait is would be good to. there are only 10 grown out at any give time, the keepers are moved to work with them and the others...

    Hydroponic Perpetual Grow Community

Thanks lb for the confidence boost. I still think it had something to do with the coco having a phosphorous build up, locking out the nitrogen. I just dont know what would have caused it with 5 out of 8 mothers that were all in coco from the same bag. I dont post alot as you can tell, and I...
