i know its apropriate to give a plant a gallon of soil per foot hight, but when should i transplant my seedlings out of a 650 ml pot half full, there only about 4 in hight and the second set of true leavs are starting.

i have a plant and it is only like 2 and a half feet tall, should i start flowering it, its already started to produce more heads out of the cracks between the stems and old leavs, the longest one is like a 3 in. shoot. i dont want to flower it, but i want what ever is best for the plant...

If so what measurements sould i use?

i have started to get some pre flowers, i think i have a hermy.(the only plant i have right now.) some of the pre flowers are just the green little balls on each side of the new developing heads.(male). And some of them are not so much ball shaped, but they are like a yellowish color.

Is there anything i can do to make the tricones noticably larger on my leafs?

i found this 2 foot long cfl at the good will so i grabbed it, the color is almost like a pink, it says its an aqua light, is it any good to use? also, what is better, a daylight cfl or a cfl that looks really flouressent and is very bright and is high white almost blue.
