This thread has convinced me to get a 400 watt HPS. Currently growing popcorn shit under CFs. I know there are a lot of variables, but what is a minimum/ maximum yield per plant with this light? Is 2 oz. per plant asking too much? Ho long do most of you veg for?

I keep the dome on and put in next to a window for a couple days after they sprout. After that, I take the dome off leave it by the window for another couple days then they are hardy enough to go under the lights :)

If your using water with low PPM the PH can dramatically change with a drop of PH Up or Down. Without a Higher PPM to buffer the solution distilled, RO, or low PPM tap water is extremely sensitive to change.
