Do you have a local Walmart , Lowes , HD, or ace?? All those places carry cfls up to about 32w and the hardware stores usually carry 42w and the big old football sized 65w

It can indeed be done, my first grow i used just 12 of those lights to cover an even larger area and 20 plants, with the setup you described ,if enclosed, u will definitely need some type of exaust... Mylar can be found online or u could use an emergency blanket from walmart and sometimes they...

40 is aiming a little high perhaps, it really depends on how many you can physically fit in a 3x3 (or 4x4) space. If you start in smaller pots u should be able to pull it off.. Now to flower that many you would need something more like 2 400w or a 1000w. 2 400ws would be better imo

if u really want to wirer up the ground try finding a 3 pronged extension cord and use that, if u dont there is a small risk of shoc especially in a grow area.. Also halogen im sorry to say is about the worst for growing herb, It runs too hot and doesn't have enough light in the right spectrum...

As long as it has its own ballast and everything you shoulkd be fine. If it works outside it should work inside just fine, u might open it up and see if you can see any power ratings labeled on the ballast just to be sure, if u had a pic we could tell u 4 sure. EDIT: OK i see the pics now, that...

lol your fucking crazy just go get ur sack! lol jk but really a one time trip in there wont hurt things at all just dont make it a habit. As far as the green thing goes, unless its a powerful led flashlight it should be fine although the green film would tone it down just to be safe.
