Lots of mixed information online. I am genuinely curious the difference and how they affect quality and yield. Most people now adays say LED blows HPS out of the water. However if you talk to the old heads that have been growing for decades that wholeheartedly believe HPS is better. Any insight?

i have never flowered under the emerald green mammoths but imho there are a gimick. "normal" led's already have ample green i the spectrum, there is nothing to be gained by adding more.

In my opinion LED provides more spectrum than HPS/MH. 600w hps/mh vs 600w LED I see more light penetrating the canopy, the plants love it!!!
