hello all this will be 1 of many future installments covering political issues from all walks of life across the globe, similar to bucks bogart and schylars sesh.

The first installment is going to be based on president obamas recent comment.. ''some people really dislike me becasue im black''

I personaly dont agree with the presidents comments. I think Obama should be above these subtle racist comments, and in my opinion he is showing nothing but disprespect to the blacks that were mistreated slaves. I feel he is opening up the wound of african american intolerence that has been slowly healing the last 150 years.

just my opinon on the matter at this time, feel free to try sway me with your own

lets keep this on topic please guys/gals. Do either of you have anything constructive to add about the presidents comments?
Even if you favour Obama its ok to admit that he is wrong about a certain issue or that he has done something stupid.
Not even the president is perfect and you would have to be a fool or ignorant to think otherwise

I'm going to have to stick up for Obama this time.

IMO, he spoke the truth, there are people in this country who hate him for his color, there's also those who give him a pass for the same reason.
I didn't find anything racist about his comments, he was right.

I should really add that i dont think Obama really had white supremist on his mind with his comments. yes it is obvious the KKK wouldnt like obama. But that is such a small % of worthless people, as the leader of a nation he should be way above even acknowledging such thoughts.

i feel like he is almost trying to race bait inbetweeners, he is playing off the color of his skin i believe with this comment

The fact is, no one will ever know his intentions but him, however, you have to admit, he spoke the truth.

I heard what he said and figured people would focus on just that part, he followed it up with, and there is no doubt there are also people who SUPPORT me because of the color of my skin.

I think he's right on both accounts and the idiots pretty much cancel each other out. Too many other things to bitch about other than him saying the truth for a change.

see to me that sounds asif Obama is calling anyone that judges him good or bad due to his skin color a racist? thats fair enough

what i want to know is how he knows if someone is jugeing him on his skin color or his performance as president.

That whole bunch as you called them, is actually a tiny minority, very small. I got bitten by a black widow spider today, just one spider bit me, one spider out of billions. Im not going to say spiders dont like me even if the spider that did bite me charged right at me and leaped onto my face.

i see what you are saying unclebuck. But Obama adressed a nation of 300 million and said he is hated by what is probably like 0.5% of the population because of his skin color. It is just my belief that Obama doesnt give a shit if some whites hate him and said what he did only to get people all self rightious and defend the poor first black pioneer of a president that is defying the odds in a white mans world. And unfortunatly a whole lot of guliables gobble it up.

i just feel like Obama is using racists that dont effect him in anyway to blame all the criticism he is getting. he only has to yell racist and he wins over the poeple who werent really paying attention
