I have 4x viparspectra 1200w lights....love them. they are my 3rd set of lights after first trying hid/hps and hating the heat and then switching to king led lights from amazon and didnt care for them (good bloom lights tho) but the viparspectras are by far my favorite, the vegetation growth is double the kings...its THAT noticeable. I am not sure if it means those are that good or that king is so bad....thats my 2cp hope it helps. I would buy and have bought the Viparspectras and have plans to buy 2x 1200w in a few months when i expand.

Thanks for the input mate. I have the 300 watt viparspectra myself but have only used it in veg and thought it was really good in veg

Confirmed, then I switched to a 600W (V600 Viperspectra) and after I rearranged my grow I added the 300W with the 600W.
300W Veg fine for 2 even 3 plants if you rotate them around.
600W Flowers fine

Anybody know how efficient they are? Comparing 2x 900 watt viparspectra leds to 600 watt hps.
I suggest you look into the new Viperaspectra PAR Series, they have a dimmer and a member has a grow so you can see the results, it pulls around 300w.

here's a review of the PAR700 which is slightly more powerful but at least you can see how good they are and very underestimated me thinks based upon what i've seen.:weed:

Viparspectra will be good in veg but will lack in flowering for sure. It has almost no red.
Yes and no know we tested this:
Reflector Series
V 300W is good for Veg but like you said Red is poor not as noticable compared to so many other leds on the market.
V 600W is decent for veg and flower even if it has more red than 300W it's not that fantastic. You get an avererage/decent grow.
V 900W has the best Red of the 3, better for flower.
v1200 W we didn't bother with it, it's said to be just as good as the v900 but i really didn't have the space to even take it into consideration, this is based upon others which use 1 -2 v1200 for flower.
Just to back up your post, alot of people with Viper Reflector series usually add another light to help bloom/flower, even a simple full red led does wonders in this case due to the lack of red as you have stated.

The reason they high Watts have more red is most probably just because of the led panel size, so 600w would have 2x the red of the 300w , the 900w seems to have even more than 3x 300W.

I had to combine a v600 with a v300 to get a decent/good result.
Another member recently reviewed the PAR Series, this is MUCH better for Red, it has a dimmer and great light control.

In the end the V series isn't that great for flower but the PAR series, once growers get used to how the dimmer should be set for bloom/flower is a very decent led.

Viperspectra are cheap but the results are ok, not fantastic but decent and with the new PAR series, I think more people will make better use of them.
