Hello,
I'm going to try out my first grow this week and was wondering if I could use coconut fiber as my medium? I have a brick of it that is compressed and you just add water to it and it expands and retains water real good. It's the kind for pets like lizards etc. Made by Zoomed. It's all organic and looks good to me. Any ideas or if anyone has tried coconut fiber?
EDIT: Also, I have some non namebrand soil that I have in my garage collecting dust. Should I mix the fiber with the soil or just use the soil by itself?
Thanks!
