So I dropped my scale this morning and it won't work anymore. Does anyone know where I can get a decently cheap scale relatively quickly? Thanks. -X

I have a male plant and im about to kill it, but before i do i was wondering if it has any use besides seed production. SHould i just kill it and send it down the garbage disposal or can i make something out of it?

i use a a homemade dwc made out of a 30 gallon rubbermaid container. Its easy to grow with, I only check on it once a day, and the resevoir is large enough that the ph doesnt fluctuate too much and temp isnt a problem

Anyone ever grow white rhino before? I have two white rhino plants that I am kind of worried about because they are so short. They're leaves are kind of funky too. Ill try to get some pics up when i get home.

my seedlings are about a week old and im going to move them from under cfls to under a 600 watt hps. My question is what height should i start the light at. I was thinking 3ft? I dont want to risk killing the seedlings. thanks in advance for the help -X

yeah im going to use the cfls for the first week. im going to go pick some more up tomorrow

I meant the 150 watt equivalant. i think it was like 40 watts maybe? the hps was like a foot and a half above it. They don't need light until they sprout right? Im going to start germinating some more seeds later today

how many cfls should i use for the early veg? right now i only have 2 150 watts laying around the house

vinegar lowers the ph of the water my tap water comes out at around 8, so i used a little vinegar to drop it down to 5.5.
