Amen. Cut the large fan leaves off before you hang them. Once they get wet or crispy they are hard to trim. I usually trim most of the thricome colored minor leaves after the larger ones so they can be saved for ice hash. the micron bags are expensive, but is worth it for the added treat...

At first glance, I would say no. But, I do a diligent search for clear trichomes before I cut. If I find even a 5% clear, I usually wont cut. There are exceptions though. Note: I grow medicine, primarily for pain and cancer patients. To that end I aim for around 10% amber thrichomes...
