Not a lot. But it will take a day or so to return things to normal. I'd rather waste a day of stretch than a day of bud, ya dig?

I gotcha. I already have a ton of stuff planned for my next grow that will be different from this one. I'm learning as I go lol.

I'm ordering 5 new fem strains:
Skywalker og
3 barney's strains- pineapple chunk, red dragon, lsd
chemdog

4 of which will be germ'd and started outside the tent while final bud and drying are happening. So then they can go straight into veg when the tent is free :)

Overfed 3 of them (not too bad). I guess thc bomb and one of the VK's didn't like full strength nutes, 3 times in a row lol. I just finished watering them, they only received ph'd water and a tablespoon of epsom salt since I haven't done that in a while. Should I feed water once more, then switch schedule to -full feed- -full feed- -water- -full feed- -full feed- -water-....?

Everyday I'm more amazed at what a 400w light can do. Can't wait for the swell now.

I hope one of my bombs turns purp too, the breeder pic looks unbelievable.

Took them out of the tent today, watered them, and rotated too. Tied the big one up, some of the buds were starting to fall over. Some color is starting to come in on most of them, finally.

Here are the pics:

Disaster struck tonight :(. I'm really having a bad day now.... opened the tent and one of the fans fell on top of 4 bud sites. There was no hope for trying to save them, so they got chopped. I hope that was the right move. ;( And I really pray the rest of the plant keeps on truckin, because it is my frostiest plant thus far. The top 3 bud sits are still okay.

Smoking a ton now tonight in their honor, R.I.P. 4 nice bud sites. They're now drying in the other closet. Pictures when I'm in a better mood...

Woe is you. "Shit happens" -- Forest Gump. It happens to all of us sometimes. Learn from your mistakes and their death is not in vain.

Amen. Cut the large fan leaves off before you hang them. Once they get wet or crispy they are hard to trim. I usually trim most of the thricome colored minor leaves after the larger ones so they can be saved for ice hash. the micron bags are expensive, but is worth it for the added treat. You'd need enough skuff to make it worth it though.

I have had colas bend the main stalk at more than a 90 degree angle from their unchecked weight. Once staked, they recoup in a few days and develop a thick knot of scar tissue at the bend. No doubt this is undesired, the point is: sometimes damage thought unrecoverable is not such. I have even split stems on purpose in veg and watched them recover with holes in their stems. They are very hard to kill, even when you want to. Next time, try staking the bend straight and give them a few days. If you see a ton of yellow leaves on the branch, that is OK, but brown or black is necrotic death. Yellow means the branches are depleting their nitrogen stores for repair, much as human muscles do with other compounds. If you see crispy leaves or fast browning or sagging, they are too far gone and will do more harm to the plant if left.

I tried to rescue them, but it was a pain in the ass and I wasn't in the mood for it lol. So I cut them down.

Finally stopped being lazy:

Smoked some of the violator kush I was forced to dry... my god. This shit is great! and it wasn't even done or cured at all (3 weeks early then dried 7 days). Really smooth already though. It's also completely covered in trichs and has a really long lasting high. I'll get some good pictures soon, I bought a microscope for my phone to check the buds.

Update-
So they swelled up real well, but I didn't get any real color like I was hoping. Regardless, I have way more weight than I ever imagined. They're all chopped up, trimmed most of the way, and hung up. Didn't take too long, about 5 hours.

They're in the tent, drying at 70% w/ 55% RH. Both fans are on circulating fresh air and the carbon filter is cleaning it :)
5 strings are up and filled with fresh bud, all strains are separated.

last post will be pics of all the bud in jars, and a final weight.
