    Importance of humidity during flowering?

Low humidity can be a good thing. Many strains grown in high altitude, low humidity climates develope heavier trichome production. I actually live in a high elevation desert climate... the issue isn't humidity, it's heat. I grow from seed to harvest in 0%-10% humidity with no ill effect...

Show Me What You Got LST?

I've got a really small indoor organic setup that will net about 4 pounds of high quality smoke per year. LST & SCROGing make this possible. Veg Room - 3 CFLs for 1 mom and 2 seedlings/clones in a 2' X 2' X 2.5' cab. Flower Room - One 400W HPS in a 2' X 3' X 7' flower cab - Never have...

    Bubblegum Grow- Awesome Pics!

Looks great Engineer! Bravo. I love the darker leaves too, it's a nice contrast with the sparkly frosty white trichomes. I'm growing White Light right now which is a Bubblegum cross, and I can see some similarities. Anyways, nice lookin buds.

    Potted vs. Flower bed

The point of that layer is to supply air to the roots. Pumice is incredibly porous just like hydroton, and I get it cheaper than Hydroton from a local garden center. You could just as easily use chunky perlite instead of Hydroton. Soma has posted many articles on his own website if you haven't...

    Potted vs. Flower bed

Well, it really comes down to experience... I just know how much to water them. Right now I'm watering pretty much every day, about 2 gallons total (1 gal per plant), but will give a little less or skip a day here and there if I know they don't need it. This is different from when they were...

    Potted vs. Flower bed

No holes, just the PVC pipes which go down to the 4" hydroton airlayer at the bottom of the tub. Here's the first page of that Soma Organic Bed article. Instead of a wooden box which needs to have the water proof black plastic liner, I just started with a Rubbermaid 40gal tub. Instead of...

    Potted vs. Flower bed

I've used 7 gallon pots in the past, but decided to give the Soma Bed style a shot. I modified it to fit my small space and it's worked wonders. Right now I have 2 plants in a 40 gallon air layered tub... wont go back to pots.

To prune or not to prune?

IMHO: Used appropriately, Pruning and Trimming are both great tools for maximizing bud sites, flower size, and light penetration especially when growing in tight spaces. It also helps maintain overall plant health and vigor through every phase of growth. (with the exception of seedlings...
