I have to agree with Aquaman on this. Everything ttystikk said about air stones is completely inaccurate. Not saying that waterfalls don't work, just saying thats a lot of misinformation my friend.

its not heat stress. its the light intensity. making the flip to flower is stressful enough, but when you add all that extra wattage/new light they will stress beyond belief. do yourself a favor, dim the lights by 50%, if you dont have dimmable ballasts then cut half the lights off like you had...

From my experience those "thinner roots" only come from modules like an ez cloner or a multi bucket type DWC setup. Those "thicker roots" are usually what I am used to seeing when I veg in an RDWC for about a month in 13 gallon buckets

You need to take some pics when the lights are off(clearer pictures). Couple questions though.... 160 DEGREES?!?! How many watts are you running and how small of an area? Another thing is how long was the power out for?

5ml per gallon sounds like you are using full strength. I would DEFINENTLY cut those figures in half at the very least. I personally use a quarter strength with my RDWC setup.

I've NEVER heard of people to start counting after the "transition". As soon as you flip, the countdown begins. If you have a 8 week strain, you flower for 56 days straight after flipping the switch and that INCLUDES flushing. Ask any experienced grower and they will tell you that.

So you have used Top Shooter in an RDWC with good results? I just have to be careful how much to use... I will be honest. I have a 117 gallon setup and I plan on using 50ml first just to see how much it brings my ppm up. Thanks for the quick response too..
