Hey guys I'm in need of some advice on my RDWC grow. I have had these plants vegging for about 6 weeks and for the first 4 weeks they were under lower wattage veg lights and everything was going great. I switched them into my flower room 2 weeks ago under gavita lighting and they have not liked it. I started with the room lights staggered on 600w and 4 days ago I turned the rest of then on as I needed to flip to flower today witch made the wilting worse. I had to flip today with the plants stressed because if I wait any longer they will be way too large. Does anyone have any advice on how I can fix these?! I thought it was light stress but not too sure now any help would be much appreciated as I am freaking out on Day 1 of flower. Please help me salvage this grow. Thanks

Grow info:
Strain: SFV OG
Temp: 76
Humidity: 55
PPM: 700
PH: 6.1

Sorry to see you goin through this bro ....
It sounds like it could very well be heat stress but to be more certain i also need more info.
It says above the ambient temp is 75 or so ..... you need to make sure thats the temp at the canopy also (like directly in the sunlight vs in the shade) and the humidity is also affected ... with higher temp the humidity needs to also be hogher otherwise the girls wont drink up!
Also, check the roots and make sure theyre not suffocating or affected by slime ... whats the nutrient soln temp? Running sterile res or using bennies?
Size of the room and how many watts in that room above the girls? Whats the ventilation like in the groom?

Thanks for the quick reply, yes temp swings are from 72-78 at canopy. I have my gavita temp sensor dim the lights even further if it goes any higher than that. Roots are not slimy although I will check again tomorrow, they do have some nutrient stain and are a light- medium brown color. Also shooting lots of new white roots. Water temps are consistant at 68 degrees. I am running a sterile system also, would like to try bennies but I hear they will just die because of water temps. Grow area is 15x10 with 6 gavitas 1000watts fixtures on 600w. Lights are also 3.5-4ft from canopy depending on plant. Currently running the room sealed w/ C02. C02 levels also stay around 900 when lights are off.

its not heat stress. its the light intensity. making the flip to flower is stressful enough, but when you add all that extra wattage/new light they will stress beyond belief. do yourself a favor, dim the lights by 50%, if you dont have dimmable ballasts then cut half the lights off like you had in veg. gradually start either increasing wattage/turning ballasts on afterwards. this is 100% your fix.

I'd like to see those roots, how big is the root ball? Is there Any smell to the water at all? Purple stem in the first pic says P deficiency which is odd for a 6.1 ph. I see a little green growth out of the top though. The only time I've experienced anything similar is when I transferred rooted clones from a T5 into a hid rdwc system and 1 of them did exactly what yours are doing. It turned out to be a root issue, it was just not developed enough. What kind of nutes are you using? I usually max out at 500 ppm (1.0 ec) as well.

Hey guys just wanted to give an update, I killed half the lights in the room and everything has perked back up again. Tops are praying but still dealing with the purple stalks, hoping they come back in a few more days. Any suggestions on how to ramp the lights back up and not have the stress they just went through. Really don't want to kill the yield with half the wattage
