have about a 1/4oz of bud in a ball jar that has already been cured and been in the jar for about 2 months now. Just noticed a white patch growing in the jar in between a bud and the glass. it appears to be like a mushroom mycelium or a snowflake. Is this mold? a fungus? it is white in color...

just an update: during the 18hour light cycle, im running the cfls' the whole time, and my HPS the first and last 6 hours. my max temp with them on gets to 84F in the day and 66F overnight. ladies look happy and healthy (for what it's worth). thanks for all the suggestions

thanks trueno. good idea. my timer can do up to 8 on/off cycles per day. ive also thought that im just about ready to flower, i can maybe cut it to 12/12 and possibly run the HPS over night when its coolest, and have it off during the day (i have a nice light seal for this room)

i was leaning towards the cfl/cool temps too. thanks all.

first off, this is more of a warmup, testing things. getting a feel for growing. i know my medium is less than stellar, but its just where i want to start. but not sure if the soil itself is causing burn, or not enough nutes at this point in its life, or heat/light burn and stress. or is it time...

ill give it a shot and a flush. the only reason i started adding the nutes was the cotyledons started yellowing right after the 1st leaves came out. thanks :)
