Mold? Fungus? Safe to smoke?

have about a 1/4oz of bud in a ball jar that has already been cured and been in the jar for about 2 months now. Just noticed a white patch growing in the jar in between a bud and the glass. it appears to be like a mushroom mycelium or a snowflake. Is this mold? a fungus? it is white in color about the size of a pencil eraser head. last time i looked at the jar was about 3 weeks ago and nothing was there.

i had 8 other jars of the same bud/plant with no other signs of this growth. also, the buds are not tightly packed in the jars, there is plenty of room.

any thoughts as to what this is? it doesnt appear to be inside the bud at all, just outside against the glass. still safe to smoke if i cut off this portion from the bud and re-jar it?

i'd say its mold...pictures would help...and if its only one small infected area i'd just cut it off and rejar it...and take a small plastic baggy and put dry rice in it and poke a few holes in the bag(so the rice doesn't fall out, but allows airflow)

Watercure the lot, if it was sitting in a jar there's probably spores all over it. Watercuring for 7 full days seems to cure it tho.
