i remember those days. a friend bought a deuce (or two or three), which served as my intro. i always bought lids myself. yep $10 or $15 for a lid. which was supposed to be an ounce but i don't think a lid was anywhere near an ounce. maybe half-ounce. but cheap by today's standards. lids back...

    How close is too close?

7-8 inches is too close IMO. my friend's lamp is not air cooled, but it is 400w and he keeps it 1.5 - 2 ft. he has a lot of air circulation. there is very little heat at the top of the plants. they dry out and burn quite easily. peace.

The party of no hits a new low. Repukes at it again!!!

Oh really ? Now it's about the bill ? It hasn't been about the bills. The Replublican tact has been "NO" to everything. Couldn't have said it better: "Republicans are trying to 'render government ineffective in order to deny Dems victories, create a sense that government is broken and has...

    Joe Barton's apology...

another example of an utterly stupid ranking member of the gop caucus. he obviously believes in his apology but he is so dumb he actually expresses it. actually, most of the gop believe the same, but would never put forth their belief. it's just not good politics. and of course gop politics...

Fox and Criminal Probe of BP

Fox is portraying, "across the board", the criminal probe of BP as a political stunt by the White House to cover their culpability in the BP oil spill. Evidently the White House culpability lies in it's apparent indifference to the spill, lack of action, lack of leadership, lack of regulation...

that's true. you have narrowed the focus quite nicely. and it's a sad commentary, indeed. the majority of the audience is tuned to the frig'n idiots and it has been the undoing of amerika.

if you want to get specific with the oil crisis, you can blame bush, not obama. it cheeeeeeney who staffed mms. it was mms that went to work for the oil companies. another fine example of the real bush regime.

please don't. that was a minor point in my post and those threads are numerous. let's not get into that again. my point was addressing the obama blame game. should I continue?

    Just another week in Amerika

it's all bullshit - 50-75% of the politicians in Congress are self-serving and performing contrary to their pledge, the right-wing media outlets lie outright or use an insane format (beck and limbaugh), large global corporations are too large and unregulated, many of our citizens are uneducated...
