I've spent about a year researching, and I built up about 4 different systems that are all similar, and im in the process of trying them all out. I am in the process of becoming legal to grow weed indoors, so until then its less of a focus. My main interest in hydroponics is to turn it agriculturally; my goal this summer is to create a successful hydro urban farm in my city backyard. i guess now is the trial process to see what works the best, but this advice helps A LOT

I recommend using a tested and hydro fert if not for the simple fact that it will be easier to answer your questions as you progress. try sensi grow from advanced nutrients they its specifically engineered for weed and easy (pour water, stir, adjust ph and serve)to use and they swear by it. utube advanced nutrientsAnd your going to need an ph tester/parts per million so you can see exactly how much fertilizer is in the reservoir and you can adjust it accordingly.id still recommend spacing the plants more. Unless your growing small clones and flowering SOG style I think it will just get crowded and pulling males will be hard when the roots get all intertwined. Besides that The more plants you grow the more risk your takling(if your not legal) You dont have to build anothewr one i was stoned just dont use all the pots unless they are small and if you dont use the space make sure you cover up the hole so light doesnt penetrate your water or roots.

anyways thats a cool video never seen it i really like the setup I just don't really know about fertilizer. Didn't you say yours did not have the micronutrients because he put a lot of emphasis on it being important without some of the trace elements The plant cant grow. Ive never grown hydro but ive read books sand watched a lot of videos and I wouldnt recommend that fertilizer for weed. I think that that fertilizer is probably good for flowers and stuff but for weed it might be little hot.
