Big Kahuna, Magnum hoods...

i have a question for those of you with these hoods. how do YOU adjust the bulb inside the hood? up, down, in the middle? i dont know whats best but im thinking up all the way and bring the hood down a little. i never adjusted it from when i bought it so its just in the middle but theres a ton of room to go up or down so i figure theres gotta be science to it.

Mine in my magnum xxxl is fixed I think. I dunno, I just stuck the 1k in there seemed to fall in the middle pretty well. I could see a 400 bulb being too far to one side though.

hmmm i thought the mags were like this too. i think i was assuming tho. mine has the option to move up and down about 6 inches. thanks for the reply!
