this is my recent grow, gonna be posting pics every couple of days, so maybe if i wander off the beaten track then u veterans may help.

set up 400w hps
250w 6400k cfl
70w 6" extraction straight outdoors
4" intake fan
2 no vent grills

i have 3 cheese cuttings which were already nicely rooted through the larger4" rockwool cube, i presoaked the potting medium(rockwool cubes) with ph 6.5 and superthrived water. transplanted 4 days ago

there are 3 easyryders(lr2 x ak47) which are also 4 days ols from germination, they showed roots through the bottom of 2" cubes 2 days ago and are now in the 4" cubes whick were presoaked with formulex plant start.

any other details u want to know please ask,

i foliar fed the cheeese with formulex plant start also 2 days ago, (during lights on duh!)
the cheese are still droopy but i expect them 2 be for another couple of days till they pick up again.

nutes

formulex plant start
vita link 2 part grow and bloom
superthrive
halo

anyways heres the pics as of day 4 and of my set up any pointers or qs please crack on
the bright light u c on the pics is 250w cfl will take plants out of room next time soz

nothing much 2 declare today, havent fed or watered, lifted top off prop for a few hours to start hardening the seedlings, it was a nice cool day today so lowered the hps right down to abut 2ft from plants and i have removed the 250w cfl, it was jus drinking too much leccy having both on:( plants still a bit droopy though,
i hate this part of grow as im never sure wat 2 giv them in way of feed etc, u see em droopin and wanna help but im gunna wait till pots are light then give them a dose of formulex which is a nute for cuttings and young plants. i reckon its down 2 pots being soaked before transplant that they jus overwaterd so droopin,
will post more pics wen they do something :)

ok so i woke up this morning half expecting a little more perkiness wit the light being closer an it now being 6 days since repottin, but hey they droopier than yesterday? i stuck my finger in pots and its dry a gd finger length down, but pots are still heavy so gt some in bottom still. was gunna giv more nutes to the roots through pots but cant bring myself to do that as i know that u dont water a pot that is heavy. the conclusion i came 2 is that the roots aint at the bottom yet and mingling wit the dry medium only, solution= i took plants out of room into edge of light ditribution and foliar fed wit formulex 5ml per litre hoping they can gt some goodness that way!! did i di the right thing in ya xperience or am i barking up the wrong tree wit this prob? will put fully under lights again wen its all dry on leaves

i see rockwool????? your goin the hydro route ehh...... ph should be 5.6-6.0, at least thats the range i had the best luck with when i did hydro..... rockwool also needs to be presoaked in 5.5 water ovenight b4 you use it ive soaked it for as little as a few hours with no problems but it seems a lot of hydro guys swear it will screw up yer ph if you dnt soak it 24hrs.. you will want to take that crappy plastic wrap off those rockwool cubes too so they can breath and dry properly... you do have a fan blowing on tha plants right... reason i ask is the one plant looks like it streatche and fell over than got its strength back and starten growing up again....... lookin like yer doin good though jus get that ph in check and your plants will love you for it........ some hydroheads say5.5-6.5 but like i said i had my luck with 5.6-6.0

cheers 4 dropping in tussel appreciate it:) i presoaked the rockwool grow medium for 2days as my clones were late lol its ph is about 6 but sometimes maybe a little higher. i also added superthrive to the water wen presoaking. the clones were already rooted through the 4" cubes with about 5 roots hanging out , so i put straight into the large pots. and they jus gradually drooped over 2 days and have stayed there. i water by hand not using any tray or owt. will make sure i keep the ph down and see if they like that. i may get some canna coco for my easyryders to sit in or maybe jus soil and try something diff nxt time. the only thing about soil is the high nutes they alway put in. will put some pics up of the girls 2 mor and we see how they feelin, cheers again m8 rep+

cheers mate me too! i hate this stage well thats a bit strong, but it keeps u on pins innit lol i reckon i did soak the rockwool bit much and it dried up top cos of light but wet at bottom still, so roots had no chance to get the water, that little bit helped the other day. 2 easy riders are in soil now if they do as well as the rockwool then im gunna try soil nxt time easier on the watering an feedin regime. jus ad a look at ya journal will av a gander at ya pics tomorrow shud start gettin more interestin for ya

gd 2 hear frm ya m8 blue was lush man only gt 34 grams off her but worth it still:) warlock was nice as well but had a piney taste and smelled like white spirits wen in grinder lol not my taste i like fruity smokes. u doing owt at the mo?

update day 14 the rockwool easyrider is smacking the pants off the dirt ones. and cheese are doing fine gunna give em a dose of halo tonight, has ne 1 else used it. its supposed to put the plant into the stress response stage without stressing her so she grows like mad and also increases photosynthesis rate, keeps nodes closer together and acts as pesticide and stress prevention.

heres pics as of day 14 the leaves look a bit yellow through this cam but they dont to the eye ??

lol thats wat i thought, it contains harpin alpha betain, it activates a physiological and biochemical reaction that activates plant grwth and stress defence pathways. increases photosynthesis by 25% creates shorter nodes induces quicker and thicker fruit sets and earlier harvests, promotes flower iniation and increases the plants ability to defend itself against viral bacteria and fungal diseases, if used in last few weeks will also prevent bud rot. wow gotta be worth a go will try and post a url to website. gunna put a thread up and see if anyone has had gd reults with it ?
