ahhh now that thats out of the way.

I've been apart of this website for a few years now, putting my two cents here and there. Learning a few things myself. I really enjoy this website and try to log on everyday. I read thread upon thread. There are the good ones and there are the bad ones. There is a few things I want to address to my fellow exp. growers on here, and the begginers as well . (exp. as in has at least three harvests under their belt) Now that is no real def. of an exp. grower but its enough to start seeing patterns, neccessary to perfecting your operation.

Why does everyone here have issues with eachother? Whatsup with the bashing? Why do we get soo emotional about this or that? There are plenty of proven methods out there and to each their own. Soil can grow killa buds, hydro can grow killa buds. Certain soil mixes are good, but then another certain mix works just as well. The same goes for hydro. DWC, Aero, Drip, NFT, etc. all are great systems that are proven to work. LED's, HID, CFL's... these are all proven lights to grow buds. So what's the big fuss if someone is diff than you? It's always good to suggest to your brother something that will work, but when we are on here discouraging eachother and starting wars and dislike, well... thats not very mature or wise at all. Lets really help these guys make the right choices and lets not even respond to ignorance.

This is to the begginers (hate the word noob). Stop trying to complicate the proccess of growing. Don't come on here asking for help for your set up w/o some pics. Please don't try to investigate on how to increase buds by adding apple juice to ur res. or putting sugar in your jars to increase bud weight. And please stop buying/using stupid nutrient supplements, use proven and suggested nutrients. Stop thinking because you grew a few killer plants that you are the know-it-all of growing, really you are just the know it all of your operation, not Freddy who is on the other side of the country with diff climate conditions. On this site there are plenty of guidelines and exp. growers for you to follow and learn from. We have our dealers who grow weed the right way so everyone can enjoy buds. And then we have our MMJ patients, who use marijuanas effects to deal with pain and diseases. Everyone on here was a begginer at one point and time... don't be discouraged by the new guy factor, instead you need to do your research and don't rely on this site alone to help you with everything. There WILL be trial and error. So experiment, but do not go out of your way trying to seek everyone's approval on here.

With that being said. Post away. I want to know how everyone feels about this. esp. the vets on here. We have to let these begginers know what to stay away from. There is a market out there dying to sell begginers use-less equipment and supplements. I would really like the vets to elaborate on some proven/ legit yield increasing techniques for the begginers. Begginers feel free to ask questions and please keep away from gimmicks.

Excellent post! I myself close threads that I'm reading as soon as the hate and name-calling and bashing begins. We are all here for the same basic reason, no need to be dicks to each other.

How you deliver moisture and elements is your call, I could care less. Just understand what makes a plant tick. IOW, don't complain about leaves falling off if you're using a 3-2-6 hydro food in soil.

killer post. I find it so hard to believe that ppl bash each other like that. I mean, once i blaze i dont even argue about what channel we are watching on television. we try to say how weed can bring peace and guidance to ppl, yet we holler at each other as if we are apes about the differences in cfl, hps, led and mh. come on guys and gals- we are all her for the same fucking reason: KILLER BUD

I have spent a lot of time on here trying to dispell the myths and give new growers honest, truthful and complete info. There will always be haters and folks that "feel" thier way is best, It is up to beginers to learn to see the differences and know what the facts are, unfortunately a lot of them are already having problems before they find this site because they dive in without understanding what makes everything work together in complete harmony

I have some hatin (or disagreements) going on in my NooB Advice thread, it can't be helped, it happens and I get a lot of neg rep for it which I don't care about. But to those of you that stop reading when the hatin begins, you might be missing out on that one tidbit of info that makes you turn the corner from beginer to experienced grower, So I say read, read, read!

I have pulled a lot of beginers into my thread by growing this plant under 1 65 watt cfl to prove my point that the balance of the variables is what matters, not the intensity of just one

A GOOD GROW IS THE SUM OF ALL PARTS

This girl just started her 7th week under 1 65 watt 2700K CFL with an added 32 watt 6500K T9 (see my avatar) the controlable variables are adjusted to be the very best they can be, optimized for proper plant growth and bud developement

Tell me UB, what would you suggest for nutrients and such for these begginers. Since nutes are a basic staple of any grow operation its always good to have a begginer friendly/ effective nutrient supplements.

While we're waitin for UB to answer I will say that my girl has been fed mostly Jack's Classic Bloom (formily Peters) NPK is 10-30-20 (a 1-3-2 ratio) with a couple of supplemental feedings of DynaGro Bloom NPK is 3-12-6 (also a 1-3-2 ratio) Supplemental because it is one of the few nutes that contains ALL 16 of the essential elements for proper plant nutrition (I also use molasses)

Jack's 8oz tub is $4.99

These 2 nutes are all you really need to properly feed a flowering plant

excellent post + rep. 1 thing I would add is when some one asks for help remember that you are giving your opinion most of the time, if someone else chimes in with a different opinion just let it be. It is the OP's thread. People need to stop turning other peoples thread into debating grounds over different opinions. It becomes irritating to scroll through a 10 page thread only to find that only 2 pages are actual responses to the OP.

I also agree that if you come here asking for help with a plant problem, it is imperative that you post pics. Also be somewhat descriptive with your thread title. If you want people that know about mag def to answer your thread include it in the title. This also help other people find related problems when using the search function. If the majority of people would ask questions/create threads this way there would be fewer repeat threads. Im sure that some of the more experienced growers get tired of having to tell people to stop drowning there plants or stop adding full strength nutes to seedlings.
