hello here is my first grow journal,
dynamite strain (grapefruit) from clone
59X59X68? grow tent (if i remember correctly)
"450w" dr. grow riite led + "300w" dr. grow rite led (300w) currently providing side lighting via light angled 90 deg
4" eap inline fan on digital timer currently kicking on one hour after leds turn on, runs until 2 hours after sunset then runs 45 on 15 off i find this helping keeping temps at 80 deg or so under plant light also fan kicks on for 15 mins after lights kick off to finish taking out humidity(im in and upstairs attic loft) fan soon being moved to attic so i don't have to listen to that in my loft/bedroom anymore
2 gal dirt pots (same as smart pot) will be transplanted later
4 small fans.
royal gold bs mix
small space heater hanging from tent ceiling (not in use until winter)
Puget sound grow
street address:
 your moms house
one clone believed to have nitro burn when i received it, i spilled a little transplanting fert mixed with water on leaves. caused burns with in hours:!::-(:finger::wall::cuss: and scared the shit out of me, recovered nicely though, they loved the generic b-1 aside from the spill
i think that covers the main details, photo Sept 12

moved the 4" inline fan into the attic, virtually silent now. the only way i can here the fan is if i turn everything off but the fan and sit in silence, even then its barely audible. even my PC fans are louder on my comps! FYI put drum cymbal grommets between the wood and the mount so no vibration can travel though the to the wood. i don't know if that is making a difference but why not just in case?

here's my conculsion all the pics i can find(not many) of this strain have shown a lot if purple and reds in the stems. not all stems are like that. i have broken the 9 plants in three groups. group one has dark green leaves and some "clawing" group 1 got the most nutes eco grow 10-8-14 2 days ago. group2 had very little nutes added 10 about days ago as well and is showing some clawing as well but it is barely noticeable group 3 has received no nutes and shows no issues but is not as bushy as the others. all plants have been drinking all the water i give them, by the next day the pots weigh almost nothing compared to when i watered them they day before with slightly less than the 4 cups per 2 gallon pot i have been giving them. growth since sept 12 has been great and the roots have really taken over the pots almost time to go bigger.(thanks to large free sample bottle of orca mycorrhizae maybe? yesterday i cut to 1/2 water late in the day group 1 clawed more) so i flushed group 1 because most signs pointed to nitro abundance, group 2 gets no water to see how it reacts, same with group 3. group 3 tomorrow will probably receive a low dose of Eco grow 10-8-14 in 4 cups water tomorrow becuase it has nover recieved nutes this month, and.group 2 will get regular water, group 1 one will get no wate becuase its pots are still heavy as hell from the flush and still probably will be tomorrow. i am also suspicious i also have a pho def at the same time, perhaps this strain doesn't use a lot of nitro and it has used up all the pho. i have some 0-15-15 nutes i could blend with eco grow if that's really the prob

i would try the phos supplement for the purple stem one. or maybe let it dry out before you water that group again. witht he others with claw leaves i would check ppm levels. sometimes some strains cant handle as much nutes as others.

hows the led lights working for u? i was thinking bout getting a few 400+watt led panels for my closet. maybe one fore each side and wall. u can never have too much light eh? plus heard heat was not a problem with led.

good LED's aren't hot but do get WARM and if you are thinking of a few 400w then you definitely will be needing outtake fan because the ambient heat will accumulate fast especially in a space like a closet

very true, next to my lights i feel my inline fan is the most important, it takes 15-30 min with out my fan my tent gets way to humid, hot, and stinky(guano) the light assembly creates heat that what the fans are for, also with my exhaust on its still 3 deg f warmer under the lights fyi. a small space heater kicks on every now and then to keep every thing stable, also the space heater kills the humidity. 80 deg f below the lights and 40%
or below humidity all the time. i love it and it looks like over all their lovin it too. thanks for the compliment crazymanny

also shop smart and do a fuck ton of research, not all lights are created equal. i.e. advanced led is a scam, their warranty becomes void and does not transfer with the lights if you sell them. they also break all the time, so used is not an option. i bought new dr growrites & checked before hand that the warranty lasts a few years and is tied to the serial # in case i sell. i have one angled led creating a over lapping sweet spot in the foot print (awesome in the beginning because i was running them at half power in the veg mode)t, i think that's why their so bushy they really dont have to reach up for the light. in a few days its going to go horizontal for the last ten days my lights have been on full blast and have grown enough that i have to expand my foot print. how do you plan on ventilating the closet? most people up here in sea that do a closet op install a high cfm bathroom fan in the ceiling dumping into the attic.

pots dry as a bone, watered & fed group3 .5 g eco grow 10-8-14 each except for roxy, she gets no nutes because that clone when i got it had nitro burn and then i broke the main stem, i and was very wounded finally almost all signs of strees are gone and its looking pretty happy just about 3" shorter than the rest and drinking water abour 1/2 speed. im thinking i will feed that one in 3 days not sure.
