First journal, perpetual grow multiple strains

What's up RIU, this is my first journal but I've been "practicing" for a minute. I have a perpetual grow setup that I'm constantly changing (for the better hopefully). Currently running in my flowering closet are a 250w hps (new) and a 70w hps security light (for newly added plants height difference). In there now are 3 hawaiian x maui waui that are left from a terrible winter grow (temps impossible to control) so their sad looking at 3weeks into 12/12 (keep hope alive!). But the focus of this journal will be 5 querkle plants that are 2-3 weeks into veg and avg. 6", also a left over winter stressed plant and a bag seed struggling to grow (i tend to let things hang around if i have space) . In my veg box are a 100w mh security light for young plants and a 65w cfl for cloning (I will be venting this box better during this journal) and i will be changing the way i keep my mothers (currently in a bird cage with a a 70w hps to protect from cats! bastards. But i will be transferring all new mothers into a stealthy new box i built pictured also. They will be much smaller and constanly replaced. I also so added a ozone jr on the opposite side of the room and it covers up everything ( gotta stay safe) Sorry for the long intro, but its a lot (for me:roll:). I will keep updated, let me now what you think! My discussion thread: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journal-discussion/318086-first-journal-perpetual-grow-multiple.html

The question always comes up at some point about what i am using for nutes, soil, etc. So lets cover that. I grow in soil always (doesn't require as much attention as other forms), right now i'm using miracle grow organic choice. I hate it b/c it has fungus gnats, and always does. I prefer professional soil mixes but time and money are not allowing for my usual prefs. I lighten the soil up with perlite and vermiculite, before adding in more bone meal and an organic fert called kricket krap, and some worm castings and kelp for good measure and i usually dont have to feed again till flowering. But then i use a combo of fish emulsion and sea kelp comes pre mixed and earth juice bloom booster and thats it.

Super excited today my new strains came in! Taking my inventory to Seedsman White Widow, Hawaiian x Maui Waui, Aurora Indica, Papaya, Black Jack, Kaya Gold, Master Kush, and AK-48. Man it's going to be a GREAT SUMMER!!!!

Just giving an update today, not a whole lot of growth in the veg bux, but some. The tallest is about 7-8", will let go till about 10" and move to 12/12. In the mean time my clones are rooting (kind of slowly which is making some look weak) and I'm going to vent my veg box a little better today, to hopefully control temps a little better. I will include before and after pics when finished. And i think i have pollen in my flower room so i will clean thoroughly today, before introducing querkles or else i can't explain this sudden browning of my hairs on MW? we will see.

Today i worked for about 2 hours potting up some clones and sowing some seeds, earlier today i wanted to kill my cats for detroying 2 of my plants good thing they didn't touch any of the querkles! i included pics of my maxed out veg box and growing querkles (which are about 9" by the tallest one so far and varying below that. There are also pics of some clone papaya, white widow and aurora indica but that is not till later.;-)

Decided to give an update today. I moved 3 of my querkles into the 12/12, the reports are true this is a slow growing strain, not sure when the others will be ready to go in. I also took the final clones from my three mothers and moved them into the 12/12. since i made some changes to my boxes today i will be ready to run 8 smaller mothers in the dresser stealth box (which i added a vent fan to and switched the hot running 70w hps for a 65w cooler running cfl which should be plenty for the mothers) i also added a 70w hps to my veg box which now has a mh and hps running and since there outside the box it stays cooler in there perfect. since the the summer months are here i will be taking advantage of the free sun to root clones on a window sill on a unaccessable side of the house which will allow me more room to veg. i included more pics sorry no before and after this time.

Today was a bad day, I had to shut down and move my grow today! For some reason my land lord sends out these memos about upcoming property inspections after years of no inspections!!! So better safe than sorry i broke it all down and moved to a freinds till the coast is clear. Maybe i'll start another journal then, but for now its a wrap!

that sucks big ones man, i just had to 75% shut my op down cuz the gas board wanted to change my pipes lmao. Its always good to have a bolt hole where u can stash ur pirze cuttings while u lie low.
