Thanks for checkin' out my second medical grow journal. If you're interested check out my first grow. Hopefully I can learn a few more things and improve my environment further this round. This will be my last grow from seed as my mothers should be huge by the end of this grow. My third round I plan to run 4 pineapple express clones and 4 LA Woman clones.I am really happy with pineapple express, amazing growth, beautiful buds and delicious smell. I plan to run at least a few each grow for the foreseeable future. I hope you'll subscribe and learn with me on this grow-venture.
Strain: 2xPineapple Express Fem, 4 'Kermit' Reg, and 2 Layne's Fruity
Medium: Seeds in Rapid Rooter cubes. Then into 50% Hydroton, 50% rockwool mini-cubes in 2 gal smart pots.
Growing style: Hand watered then Flood & drain
Methods: SCROG, FIM
Base Water: City tap, EC .35-.4 mS, Ph 8.5
Nutes: Ionic Grow/Bloom/Boost & Mother Plant for my mothers
Additives: Snow Snow Ultra (4 doses in flower weeks 2-6)
pH: 5.5 to 6.5, using GH Ph Down
EC: Starting .7 mS working up to 2 mS
reservoir size: 18 gallons filled to 15 with nutrient solution.
Flood volume: 7-10 Gals depending on pots/flood height
Feeding schedule: Hand watering with drain to waste for veg. Plants I plan to flower will receive Ionic series, mothers vegging with them will get Mother Plant.
Lights: 2 - 85W CFL 6500K for clones/mothers (8,400 lumens); 400W Hortilux Metal Halide for veg; 400W Hortilux HPS in flower room.
Light Schedule: Clones - 20/4; Veg - 20/4; Flower - 12/12
Temps: 80-83 degrees f lights on; 66 degrees lights off.
Humidity: Low currently, 30%
Circulation: Box fan on low, 6" clip on fan for now, hoping to upgrade to 400 CFM Can/Vortex fan in the near future.
Size of grow rooms: Veg/clone room - 2' x 2' x 6' space in closet; Veg/Flower room - 4.5' x 2.5' x 8' (73 cubic ft. of space).
How long Veg'd: 4 weeks or 6-8".
Expected harvest: 12 plants, 3 mothers. 2 Fem, 7 regular (expect 3 fem). Expecting around 5-6 plants and 6-8 oz. I'll have to donate the surplus to a fellow patient to stay at the 2.5 oz legal limit.
Day 1 - 1/30:
Seeds were soaked last night and have just been placed in the root riot cubes. I'll mist them in a few days to ensure they stay moist. Hopefully they pop in a few days, then it's over to the 400w veg room along with the mothers. Planning to run 20/4 with my veg this time. Now that I've got light distance and cooling down I think the extra hours of light will help them grow faster. I would go 24/0 but I believe in improved root development in dark, so I'll give this a run.

One of the Kermits is bright yellow though??? Seedlings can be strange I guess, we'll see how many make it to veg. Plan on misting the cups today to keep the cubes moist.
