Hello Awesome People,

-I have been meaning to get this going for awhile now. I am growing BC Sweet Tooth and Nirvana Blue Mystic.
-I have been apart of another grow, though not my own, first one for myself.

Lights: 600w MH & HPS using a digital ballast.
Reflector: HTG solar six (got upgraded from eurocool guess they were out, woo.)

Soil: As seedlings - Some good Fertilome seedling soil. Rest of grow Fox Farm Ocean Forest with some added perlite.

Containers: Started seedlings in 16oz cups, now transitioned to some 5" clay pots and some 7" plastic ones. (Space is an issue, as you will see).

Light Period: 24/7 for about first 5 days, now on about 19 Hours on 5 Hours off (Temp - to cold - also an issue)

Germination: Moist paper towel in a plastic bag, this works perfectly especially when left on a water heater, or just a flipped over lap top left on, some sort of minor perpetual heat seems to be key.

Alright so quick Pic explanations and some background: My grow room was conveniently built into the closet of my apt when they renovated the place. So the third pic is looking at the bulge in my closet, the mirror is covering up where the panel comes off, tis pretty perfect. The first two pictures are inside the room, i'm in what was the basement of a house, that window with the fan in it is boarded up on the outside and covered with vines haha. As you can see that area used to be the stair case. I transformed that window into my exhaust, and lined the majority of the room with reflective bubble insulation, helps with heat (keeping it in) and noise. My inline fan (6inch 250cfm @ home depot) is wrapped up in reflective insulation itself to additionally help with noise, and strapped to the board covering the window, which was the fan, yes with zip ties. May i add that i have absolutely no problems with heat, i could probably put the light within about 8 inches and be okay.
The first green you see is a couple days after germination, bless their hearts.
-The eight cups are comprised of 3 Blue Mystic and 5 Sweet Tooth (BCBD is really good about giving extra seeds).
-So that is Act I

ACT II

*Hello, so it appears i am slightly confused on posting pictures so whatever way i am doing it, it shall have to suffice.

Woo ok, so here are some pictures about a week from the first cute little cotydylon. All the seeds originally germinated, out of them 7 atleast made it out of the soil, and from there only 5 have continued living. I believe this was probably my bad in planting them in the soil, maybe to deep? who knows. So all three that failed were the sweet tooth so now i'm down to 2 st and three bm.
*My 400 watt bulb burned out right around this time so thats when i switched to a 600watt one.

* I have a heater in there for the night period, it turns on when the temp drops to around 65ish and turns off when it gets to about 75ish, continues in this pattern during the night, any forseeable issues.

* I WOULD LOVE ANY COMMENTS, SUGGESTIONS, QUESTIONS, hellos and goobyes.

ACT III 10-29-09

Alright, all caught up. In the last couple days i have transplanted all of them. They got root bound quicker than what i imagined, which i believe to be the cause for some of the yellowing and sad looking leaves, although they are much more perked up now. The clay pots are 6" and the plastic ones are a little less than 9". They are in mainly ocean forest with some perlite and a little bit of the fertilome. I have been using distilled water this whole time.

Thankyou much sir Stinkbud.

I have just realized something i did wrong that i hope is not to much of a consequence. The medium i transplanted the center Blue Mystic into is more permeable, aka to much perlite than what was the consistency in the 160z cup. Bla i guess this leads to a "water pressure differential" which can cause slow root growth. Hm any suggestions?

look at this i did the same thing only i started mine off in its growing medium from seed now the thing is i also put to much perilite in my mix and my water runs through like a fauset the only thing i did was water very slowly until i could feel the weight that i wanted now that they are big as hell they drink alot i water every day now 2 days water 1 day feed ..that is if you dont want to re-do your soil mix..which at this point would not be to hard.. anyway good luck just a thought..peace pot prosperity

Things be going well, my chicas probably got a little mad at me cause i left them for about two days, but they are looking good. The sweet tooth is definitely just bush like i love it, no stretching at all on either of them.

Blue Mystics are on the three on the left, The ST are the two on the right.

I have just been basically watering more often on the perimeter of the pots that have the problem, helps force the roots to search for water. I really gotta transplant the three in the little pots but i gotta do some grow room renovations and test are currently owning my life. I envy your grow box, my room is literally a hole in the wall haha where i was curious as to what the bulge in my closet was and removed the side paneling and cut through some 40 year old particle board and was rewarded with the space conveintly located with a boarded up window. Awesomee stealth when i need it to be.In any case your plants are looking awesome! nice work

Peace

Looks great so far tfish! Is that 'Sweet Tooth' seeds from Barney's Farm? Looks like your girlz are off to a good start - if you plan to LST any of them, it may almost be time to start tieing them down...? I'd guess you're in for some real bushy babes there.... subscribed! =)

I've just started my 3rd grow this evening (Barney's Red Cherry Berry, Barney's Sweet Tooth, Nirvana's Bubblicious) and am just finishing my second grow (Bagseed and Barney's Blue Cheese). Take a look if you like.... 2nd grow: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/246834-bagseed-barneys-blue-cheese.html 3rd grow: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/266375-barneys-farm-bonanza.html

Woo after last nights crazyness i now have a proper platform on which to have proper size pots as opposed to my 70's staircase haha. I still have more to do, but i got two of my chicas into the 3 gallon pots sadly i will only have room for 2 more soo the little guy still in the clay pot is probably gonna get the boot, we'll see.
I also started my lst to one of the bm. Let me know what you think!

woo thanks for joing fditty i'm really excited about the blue mystic.

Gots some updates, the two that are being lst'ed are the blue mystics they popped right back up so i pulled them down a little further, pretty cool how they respond.
I also think i may have a preflower on one of my ST i don't really know see if you can determine, its reallly little so i couldn't say i really hope its not a dude that would be depressing.

i've grown this bluemystic from nirvana... she's a tasty bitch. real frosty. really likes the nutes. she was hungrier(meaning she needed much higher ppm in the nute mix) than any other plant i was growing, for this reason i stopped growing her.

Yeah, now that i think about it. I had to mix seperate batches of nutes for them. I used the 3 FF nutes. Ps. Dont forget your molasses..

Ya good call with the molasses of which when should i start feeding them that. I know it won't hurt at any point so i'm pretty sure i may just start pretty soon
