2nd Effort DIY DWC 1 x Fem Skywalker, 1 x Fem Brainstorm

yeah they'll still grow a little but no where the speed of the stretch phase its all strain dependant tho man it could still have a way to go
 
Lights have been on for about 3 hours or so and the top leaves seem pretty ok but any other that seem a bit droopy. Ive experienced droopy leaves when underwatering in soil but Ive figured that it can't really be an issue with dwc as they're always in water. Could it be overnuting as I haven't been flushing with plain water like i would do with soil between nuting.

Or could be be wheni was trying to separate the roots and maybe damaged them a bit or possibly algae on the roots. At a little of a loose end

Anyway heres the pictures and hopefully someone will be able to give me some advice.

ye4ah pretty much after the 1st three weeks they settel down and fatten up lol

I wass thinking that the moving of the roots out of the resevoir when I am cleaning it. I think they've pickd back up now but Im a little bit worried that one of them may be a hermie.

Do the start of the flowers begin with male and female looking the same and then either hairs or sacks form?
 
yeah at first its jus lill nub starting behind the spikey spear things. Sometimes males look like fems at the very start
 
i dont believe you can stress a female to hermie you can stress a plant that already has the hermie gene into poppin nuts but if your strains are stable from good seed company or the mother of the clones isnt prone to hermie which usually they are solid you shouldnt have a worry

All of these seeds are feminised dutch passion. My previous whitwe widows hermies from the same supplier. Tied them down to stop them getting too tall and tried taking a couple of pics of what I think are the dreaded balls. Hope someone can shed some light

Its gonna be a long old wait wile the plants grow into full maturaty. Yeah Fem seeds will give u fems or hermies as far as I know. I have plenty of females and plenty of straight males and not so many hermies. Your justy gonna have to sweat it out untill they have shown u fully what they are.

Well Mr West looks like you were right. You could spot a cross dresser a mile off. The skywalker was producing male flowers so it went to the big coffee shop in the sky. Looks more promising for the brainstorm so touch wood Ill get some smoke from it

Dont think so. Dont have a room to veg more seedlings so will probably just finish this Brainstom off and hopefully get something. Already planning to get on of the greenhouse seeds multi indica packs and doing a grow with 5 strains. The brainstorm seems pretty sativa dominant so will keep tying it down for a sort of lst to preserve height and ge a couple more small colas
 
So its been a while since my last post. Been mad busy with work and to be honest there has been a little bit of neglect. haven't been checking them everyday. Checked them today which is the end of week 3 of 12/12. Still can't see any really clear evidence of sex which is a little worrying. should be showing at this stage. Also it looks like the centre of the plant is pretty yellow. Could that be a want for food and nutes?
Gave them a small feed and some fresh water so hoping that might restore the green to them.

Girls make u wait in the cannabis world jus as the real world. Its good that they taking time to show sex, thats a good indication that they will be girls.
 
i dont think so no. Some ppl make hash out their males but i dont think there is much oil in a male so i wouldnt bother lol
 
Just had a quick look before the lights went of and it seems like she may be a girl but I think it may be a hermie. Thought i found some balls but ive been watching alot and pulled off anything I though looked like balls. Most of the tops now seem to have white hairs and i can seem that beautiful shimmer on nearly all the tops. Wierd thing is the two tallest tops that I tied down seem to be the last tops to show signs of sex. Any ideas why this might be. Ill take some pictures and post them later.
