Well i just purchased my White Widow and Northern Lights seeds from Nirvana. They had a summer special going on and i couldnt pass it up.

My setup
72"h x 31"w x 25"d Suncast resin garden shed
All walls covered with reflective mylar
400watt HPS/MH conversion lamp
FoxFarm Oceanic blend potting mix
6" in duct fan for exhaust w/homemade carbon filter
Oscillating fan on the wall

I hope that 6" fan will be enough to pull the heat out. If not i might add a 4" but small steps first. Im gonna start out with 4 plants and when i put them into flowering im hoping to get 2 or 3 per batch. Im growing just for personal so right now im not gonna be dealing with cloning. Im just working on learning the process of growing.

Leave any suggestions and as everything gets setup and rolling ill be taking pictures to update.

Well i need to get an air cooled reflector so that will be getting ordered here in then next few days.

Right now my seeds just showed up and i started germinating 4 Norther Lights seeds. I will be starting them under 2 4' fluro tubes. Just to give me and extra 2 weeks to get the reflector and make sure the room will be cool enough.

so i will be getting some pictures up real soon of the grow.

Well 4 out of 4 NL seeds germinated and have sprouted through the soil. Right now i ahve them under 2 4ft fluro and ill be adding either a few cfl's or another 2 or 4 4ft fluro's.

Started too look good already.

Well a little update. Ive moved them under the 400 watt MH and gave them a weak dose of some fox farm Grow Big Nutes. They are 6th day from being in the soil and sprouting.

Im open to any comments.

off to a good start
is the nL the pure nl?
Ive grown both the nl and widow from nirvana
i found alot of variation and it took 4 packs of widow untill i was satisfied with the pheno.
same with the nl only 1 pack but a few diff looking strains
i say it might be hit n miss but wish u well for girls and a keeper
NL is my down right fav strain so im watching this 1 close
all the best for the rest
bil

yeah its the straight up NL. Ive had soem NL before just from a bag i got and i loved it so i really wanted to try this out.

What is the best way to raise my humidity? Right now im in a closet but its not sealed off. I have a big rubbermaid bucket i just put in with water in it to help so i can dechlorinate the water and also add some moisture to the air. Is there a better way to do it? If i put a few cups of water around the pots filled with water would it help since the light would help evaporate the water?

Good Luck with your grow would like to see when done. i too am growing WhiteWidow here is a picture @ 28 day flowering.

Looks awesome. I went down this morning to check on them and 3 out of the 4 have sprouted some new growth. Im so pumped.

Ive decided that im going to be doing some lst on these babies. Need to keep my height down and i want to yield the most possible. Cant wait to get a great looking canopy going.

Well its day 8 from being put into soil. Their last watering had a light dose of Fox Farm Grow Big. It made a monster difference in the speed they were growing.

My question now is on the bottle it says that they can be fed every feeding but is it really the best thing for them? Are you better off going everyother.

Also ive decided to go with the lst method on these plants. Ive read the FAQ's on it and my question is i should start tieing down when i have 3 or 4 nodes correct? Also would a 1 gal pot be sufficient or when i go to transplant should i jsut go to a 3 gal and then be good for the rest of the grow?

These pictures are from about 5 minutes ago.

Yeah im gonna measure my area and see if i can get 4 x 5 gal pots to fit in the area. If i can ill probably do that. Otherwise ill go with the 3 gal pots.

Would it be a good idea to add Co2 if my room temp is around 80-88 degrees F with the light on? It seems like it really helps with the speed at which the plants will grow.

heres a little update. Im on day 10 from being put in soil. They have really started to take off now. Ive added some homemade co2 to the room. The temp has been 85-88 during the day and around 73 during the night.

hey whats up, the co2 are you using during veg or flowering? i have homemade co2 and i'm using it during the flowering and i shake them up during the lights on. my temp with lights on is between 70-80 degrees, mostly in the 80's with the lights on in the 70's without lights.

im using it during veg right now. My temps are ranging 82-88 with lights on and 73ish with the lights off. Yeah i just give them a shake once or twice a day. If you check that link though i have little problem with 2 of the plants. I hope i can get them to come back around.

Heres a little update. Seems as though i have a tiny problem with my biggest plant.

Does it look like nute burn or heat burn? I think it might be nute because the 1 leaf is twisting. It has gotten 2 feedings of 1 tbs/gal of fox farm Grow big. I have stopped and am just using straight water right now. Think it was just a bit too much or too early. What are your thoughts?

Pictures
1 - leaf on the big plant that looks like a nute or heat burn
2 - Full pic of the biggest plant
3 - Curling down leaves...over watering?
4 - Plant that my cat did some damage too (starting to recover though)
5 - another plant my cat got at but didnt really do too much damage

Let me know if you guys have any thought or suggestions as to what i should do about the big plants problem.

I need some opinions right now. Here are pictures of my 4 plants. The two damaged have recovered nicely and are doing very well.

all my plants are in tiny pots right now and im wondering if its time to transplant. Its been 2 weeks today since they have come through the soil or been planted.

Please let me know what you guys think.
