I am looking for some input on Darkstar from th seeds? can anyone tell me some info in regards to personal experience with Darkstar. I know its Purple Kush Mixed x Mizar i sharif. Some pics would be awsome as well.

Nice pic's, I too have been eyeing up this strain. What they like to grow?? are there many different pheno's? does it react well to top/FIM/supercropping?? does it stretch much in flower? light/heavy feeder??

i.m working on some dark star but really don't know what my ppm should be this plant is new to me if you could give me some history i would app. it thanks i like your grow my mothers are doing great at quarter strenght but not sure on my clones im doing them in hydro any info would help please thanks indysmoker

I have not been happy with thseeds quality as of late, the dark star hermed so bad it seeded my other strains. These where non feminized seeds and my room is climet controlled and I use canna coco medium and nutes. Im doing nada wrong but the buds are junk! it also was weird as it all streatched with little hermi buds. lol! I've been blooming for many a year and never seen that week of genetics yet! Oh yah Da Purps, rambo/lambo, S.A.G.E., The Hog, M.K. Ultra also had no keeper phenos and all hermed out just didnt seed anything only the Dark Star. I've given up on all seed company's that fem. and autoflower. That leaves only one that I know of MR.NICE!
I would recommend NOT getting darkstar. Its just not that good. Its OK and has big yields and a nice fruity smell. The taste is barely fruity.
Its a nice mello buzz. But you can get much much better genetics to work with and if space is a consideration, you would probably prefer using that space for something better.

When "darkstar" first came on the hype was super high thc.. I grew it and it's junk..

I don't know what to say, mine is still fire to this day. It had a taste of heavy hash with a mix of grape to it.

I have the seed but have not grown it yet...not liking the reports. Same thing happened to me with Barneys Farm Vanilla Kush. They boast a whopping 23% tch and that was complete bullshit. I had one pheno that was truly bad ass...prob 23% thc but all the others were crap and it had almost zero smell to it...like nothing, very strange. Its like that with allot of breeders gear...allot of hit and miss. Some people swear by it others hate it.
I really was hoping that Dark Star would be what they claimed ot to be. I actually had good results from other TH seeds gear....so again...hit and miss.

I have one in flower at day 52, super cropped and topped twice. I have probably around 30 tops on it, haven't counted. Looks like it should go about 3 more weeks. Doesn't seem like the buds are going to be that dense at this point, and I hope they swell up some. I'll try and post pics later

I think proper pheno hunting is key in finding the pheno that all breeders talk about finding. I usually can find fire of any strain within 150 seeds starts to find the one keeper, It is rare to find the best pheno in a pack of 10 seeds or less.

Mine put on the weight in the last few weeks, it is a Nitrogen Hog, it love's Nitrogen and heavy cal mag as well.
