Its less than a zip its not even thick .......
Im using a vac it pro and a yellowjacket superevac 6 cfm (read it was one of the toptier pumps to use with vacitpro)... its currently been in vac for over 50 hours and there is still bubbles. When I say bubbles I mean it looks like its been in vac for 4 hours and the muffin just diminished.
People are FULLY purging in about 24 hours getting "swiss cheese shatter" with nucleation holes meaning its done.. literally no visible bubbles.
Im more than frustrated EVERYTIME I order new equipment I run into another dilemma like this..... been in vac for over 50 hours. The slab in there is less than 25g. Again, people are fully purging in half the time it takes me.
Yet im pulling 29.8-9 and oil surface area temp is 103-110f.
Posting this is my last resort before I contemplate selling all my equipment yet again. Material I ran was some super terpeny Bubblejack sugar leaf. No larf.
I dont have time to purge less than a zip in 4+days......... ..... ..
yeah, seems that your way works JUST FUCKING GREAT!!!!!!

i feel it sir. i stayed away from this site for about a year because f stuff like that. bickering doesnt get anyone anywhere. everyone has their own opinions i get that. but theres a point where you just got to be more mature than the other person and drop it.
Sorry do3..
But I'm not gonna let anyone talk to me the way vac did and think it's OK..
Sorry for derailing the thread when my intention was to try and help the op figure out how to post pix..
Back to the thread. Twitch you said if the material is old or something it won't wax properly? I achieved wax using fresh frozen on this batch then tried to duplicate the results with way overdried material and the batch simply won't wax up properly.

110F is a little low for the bubbles to readily escape. I like to purge at 115F, and then lower the temperature to blow up muffins.
If you are trying to make wax, it is more like tempering chocolate, where you vacuum off the volatiles at low temperature and then continue to ratchet the temperature up in ten degree increments, and vacuum off the volatiles, until the oil becomes a hydrate. Usually before you hit 140F.
I would also raise the pressure some, because THC boils at 104F under 29.88" vacuum. You can do that by opening your back fill valve slightly and bleeding in air.
