110F is a little low for the bubbles to readily escape. I like to purge at 115F, and then lower the temperature to blow up muffins.

If you are trying to make wax, it is more like tempering chocolate, where you vacuum off the volatiles at low temperature and then continue to ratchet the temperature up in ten degree increments, and vacuum off the volatiles, until the oil becomes a hydrate. Usually before you hit 140F.

I would also raise the pressure some, because THC boils at 104F under 29.88" vacuum. You can do that by opening your back fill valve slightly and bleeding in air.

i feel it sir. i stayed away from this site for about a year because f stuff like that. bickering doesnt get anyone anywhere. everyone has their own opinions i get that. but theres a point where you just got to be more mature than the other person and drop it.

Man I love this site.. and for the most part love all the people.. I mean there are a select few I don't care for and none reside in this section...I myself am often quite spirited and generally feel my way is always right and the only way or the most effective lol so while I don't like bickering any more than you, it doesn't put me off.. I often take something from bothsides..... I mean I did finally get some pics up....

So what's that thing in your sig.....I see em all the time but I'm always out of the loop with cool stuff
 
Another good site for hosting pics is imgur.com you don't need to register an account but it's handy if you want to organize what you post. it strips metadata when you upload and you can drag and drop pics to UL and click on them to get links you copy and paste to post them. It's what I do for posting pics at multiple places.

I had one guy grate my ass so hard I ended up looking for any thread he'd posted in and just went for the jugular. It seems to be something that happens around here. Random lapses in judgement etc. Nothing wrong with it unless you're trying to be the Dalai Lama. Sometimes, it just goes that one insult/taunt too far and a man's gotta flip. Better than walking around with it all bottled up, that's not doing anybody any good. Confront, then avoid. Long as the feeling is mutual, then no problem.

It would be nice if we all lived in Rainbowland and pooped butterflies, but that is just not the case.
 
Back to the thread. Twitch you said if the material is old or something it won't wax properly? I achieved wax using fresh frozen on this batch then tried to duplicate the results with way overdried material and the batch simply won't wax up properly.

i am actually doing a run of some romulan for my little brother, he had about 7 or 8 grams so i blasted it. i have probably 1.2 to 1.5 of oil on my paper in the chamber it has been going for almost 20 hours and it just now is starting to show signs of waxing.

now the trim from the romulan was blasted 7 to 10 days after being off the plant and i had 50 or 60 grams of oil all together and it waxed up in less then 16 hours

the stuff i just blasted has been off the plant over a month, isn't nearly as much as i usually run and it is taking twice as long, and from what i can tell it is going to be a little darker

i will post up pics of the stuff that i blasted 7 days off the plant and this stuff that has been off the plant i think 38 to 40 days

Thank you a bunch for your input. Ill raise the temp a tad bit I suppose and try I just dont want to burn anything more than I already have to. Hopefully it will help the bubbles speed up drastically...

Im never shooting for wax always swiss cheese shatter

So constantly bleed out a tiny bit of air so I'm at around 29.5? Is it just for terp retention?
