Purging: Cant get full Vac :(

I have a brand new Across International vacuum chamber and a Yellow Jacket 15-micron 6 CFM vacuum pump and for some reason I cannot get more than -25.1 inHG ( -.085 MPa, or -12 PSI)

Ive left it on for 8 hours and it wont budge past that pressure point. Need help, i have like 2,000 grams to purge

that might be it the higher you are the lower that thing will read. i believe, depending on your altitude, that could me the same as 29.9 here in texas at sea level, i think where i am at is below sea level actually

Ah so am I still able to Purge with such low pressure?? I guess I dont understand if im actually REALLY pulling 29.9 but the gauge is not able to read accurately at this altitude....or if im only ever going to be able to get 25.1....?

denver elevation is 5000-5500 feet it says. max vac achievable at that altitude is 24.43 - 24.9.

so basically, youre achieving a full vacuum.


2000 grams, seriously? lets see some pics if that wasnt sarcasm, thats insane.

Naw its for real. I cant post pics, i had to sign a Non-disclosure form to work here. Its the largest indoor grow in the country. 60,000 plants.

I do find that photo thing is odd though...

I would think pictures would be a great way to promote the business.. pics of oil speak loudly and hit people on an emotional level.

You should talk to whoever designed the disclosure, and let then know it's free advertising.

sorry there is no way that some one with the largest indoor grow would put someone like you in charge of anything, making the hash out of the trim, and you not know what you are doing.... bull shit

the people that would be running that op would have hired knowledgeable people not someone that has to ask other people on the internet....

2,000 isn't a crazy number when your in a friendly state. As for idiot investors, that's more common then you'd think too. I know a few people that got extra money flipping houses and the first thing they did was invest in a grow op. Everyone I know hires their friends, not "experts." Not saying it's smart but it never surprises me to c see newbs with big grows wasting their investors money
